I have visited both countries several times and you are correct. Argentina is, for practical purposes, a European country while Mexico is a country with a strong pre-Columbian culture. Argentina is safer than the US and Mexico is one of the most unsafe countries in the world. In prices there is not much difference, but the quality of life in Argentina, especially in Buenos Aires, is one of the best on the planet.
The Mexican peso is nearly 21 to 1 USD, which is definitely not indicative of a weakening dollar to peso trajectory. It’s been going up steadily for a year.
It’s very volatile, looking at the past 5 years the peso has gained against the dollar. It’s only been going in the other direction the latter half of this year.
Having been to both countries, I'll disagree with a lot of what you've said here. I live on the US side just 4 miles from the Naco, Sonora border crossing and cross frequently into Naco and Agua Prieta. Since I've lived here 3 years now, there have been 3 homicides in Bisbee and none across the border. I'll agree that Argentina seems more "cosmopolitan" perhaps than my border region of Mexico, but not only do I feel safer in Mexico, even as a US Passport holding tourist, than just about anywhere in the US, I trust the food in Mexico more than the US. If not due to relentless pressure from the US govt. and pharmaceuticals industry, both glyphosate and GMO Ag products would have been banned in Mexico by now. At least they are trying.
Maybe meat is better in Argentina, but for actual real food, Mexico is going to win this one hands down. They have such a rich variety of fresh delicious produce year round. And the cuisine is so flavorful.
most stuff is better actually. better wine (malbec)italian food is better because it was full of italians, ice cream , pizza , pasta...better milk, eggs beacuse of kms and kms of farming land that doesnt exist in mexico , all types of seafood, in the south there is lamb and other types of meat besides steak, i mean it depends on your taste and palladar, maybe cause im an argie and never really liked mexican food, I dont like spicy stuff ...if u like that im sure mexico is for you, but for me hands down argentine food is betterbecause it has more variety given the big territory and different geography and climates in arg which does not exist in mechico
i was in mexico for 4 months and after 2 months I stopped eating/buying mexican food and started cooking my own because I was fed up with the disgusting dry/tasteless food i was getting. I travelled, by car and by bus, and visited about 10 states. I also go off the beaten track (in total ive travlled with backpack for 10 years continuously, so i know what im doing). While there, I actually met quite some mexicans that also stopped eating out because they also said theyre tired of their own food which is often quite tasteless and dry. So, im not the only one.

You don’t give Mexico a chance since you have the mic 🎤 Haha anyhow It’s all good .! They are much much better than your country and the USA 🇺🇸 as well .!! That is a fact 🤗
besides meat (steak) in argentina we have way better wine (malbec)way better italian food due to the large italian immigration great ice cream , pizza , pasta , better milk, butter and eggs because we have kms and kms of the best farming land, we have great lamb in the south and all types of seafood , a variety of vegetables and fruit all this because we have one very extense country with all types of geographies and climates and i can go on.. argentina has more variety I think , but if u are a super fan of mexican food and spicy food ofc go to mexico

Great to hear but I was comparing Mexico to Argentina. Not the US, the states is more dangerous than both.

1:46 food in Argentina isnt cheaper. why are you making this video if you havent been to these countries or even researched stuff?
@@homeguardster Because it is a trending topic that gets clicks.
I've lived in both. High quality food is much cheaper in Buenos Aires compared with Mexico city. I'm not talking about street tacos.
@BecomePerpetual it must not have been recently
I mean.. there is no comparison.. argentinaaa hands down for obvious and numerous reasons im too lazy to write them all
