- The 8th Consciousness is our Base Consciousness and Root Consciousness. In order to know our Mind Database activities, we need learn what is 8th Consciousness first. The 8th Sense Consciousnesses（Alaiye-Vijnana or Base Consciousness）
The 8th consciousness is Alaiye Consciousness is the basis and instigator of all our mental activity. It is where we plant our karmic seeds, so it is also called the “database consciousness” or “storehouse consciousness”. As the ground of our experiences of dualistic reality, Alaiye consciousness is dusted by root ignorance (or base ignorance) , which can be transformed into wisdom through advanced meditation techniques.
This is a NEW series of teaching "Our 8 levels of Consciousnesses", they will be released in the following orders:
Tutorial 1: The 6 Consciousnesses (5 senses and mind Consciousnesses)
Tutorial 2: The 7th Consciousnesses
