So, we have Kenny the Adventurer, the conservationist, the story teller, MacGyver (picnic table windbreak), camp fire chef (with instructions), ice fisherman and believer in Big Foot. How much more exciting can this get! Awesome video! Take care, safe travels.

As a kid growing up in Northern Maine, I use to spend all my days playing outside in the woods. I remember vividly hearing tree knocks and having rocks wiz by me and I’d be completely alone. There was also that feeling that someone was there watching, but no one was ever there. This was over 30 years ago, but the memory has stayed with me all this time.

Last summer we had a family camp weekend up just out of the Columbia River Gorge in a place called Klickitat. Been camping there since I was a kid. My three sons, my daughter and a few grand kids came with us. We camp out in the middle of nowhere almost 20 miles from the closest house at the end of a logging skid road. At 3am on the morning of the 2nd day, my daughter got out of her tent and came knocking at my window trying to get me to wake up. I thought there was something wrong because she had that really scared sounding voice! I got out of the truck and asked what was going on. She said, listen! So I started to listen. About a minute later I heard a sound that froze me in place! A scream to beat any scream I have ever heard in my lifetime! It repeated three or four times and then that's when the "whooshing" sound started. It was a deep sounding electronic type whoosh that moved hundreds of yards in literal seconds. It was way back in the forest but sounded like it was just feet in front of us. As that was going on I heard vehicles coming down the road. I heard them on all the little fire access road around us. One came up our road and stopped about 50 yards from our campsite. I walked out to the road and looked at the vehicle. It was a black suburban with blacked out windows and no license plates. The vehicle turned around and peeled out of there back to the main road. I decided right then that we needed to go! We packed up and left. On the way out I noticed that there was fresh tire tracks on every single road we passed. The whole experience was absolutely sobering to me that something like this could even happen! It's made us kind of gun shy about going camping again. Anyway just thought I would share that little story. Sorry for the length. Love your videos!

We were just by the Draper Fire Tower a few weeks ago checking out logging roads and getting firewood for our property in Fifty Lakes.
We saw Bigfoot on 3-24-22 at about 10pm just North of Cuyuna Rec Area on Highway 6 before Emily. Turned a corner and in the break of the treeline a Bigfoot was standing. We just knew right away what it was... There was no mistaking it! Way too tall and too broad of shoulders to be anything else.

Still waiting on the cheesy artichoke/spinach bread, but boy oh boy you sure delivered on that meatloaf!
BF wasn’t in the house, because if he was, there is no way he could have resisted that Bacon Bomb!
My Dad built the set for the town in the opening scene of Jeremiah Johnson starring Robert Redford. In Utah.
He and a friend spent the weekend building out the sheriffs office with bunks for the rest of the building crew.
They had just settled in when they heard a low woop woop, just like you described.
My Dad, who was a retired sheriff, had no problem investigating the sound.
He walked around the building and was hit by a stench that almost brought him to his knees.
He hollered and something else hollered, and with a sound of much scurrying, he hightailed it back for his rifle.
Mind you, I only got this story from my Dad after getting him drunk as a skunk.
He would never talk it about, because he and his friend stayed up all night long because they were both so scared.
The visitor continued to walk around the outside of the cabin.
My Dad was a sheriff in Las Vegas during the 60’s…and there was only ONE thing that had ever scared him …that encounter.
    Yes please to ice fishing!
The sunset was glorious and I could feel the chill through my bones. Brrrr!
    Thanks for taking us along!
    Cya next week!

Thanks for the ride along. You’ve inspired me to winter overnight camp out of my Humvee. Tested it out last weekend. We don’t have big foot. We have the Yeti sightings. I could have had three of them outside my camp last weekend. I slept right through thanks to the diesel heater. Now I have to learn to campfire cook! Keep up the good work. You’ve inspired me to adventure more.

'when you experience, you know it.
As a kid, every summer we would go up to North California. The Pit river. My dad was a PG&E employee. PG&E has a series of Hydroelectric power plants/dams along the river. Also several employee camps out in the middle of nowhere. A mile hike from camp down into the canyon to the river. Back then I didn't even know what Bigfoot was.
Going fishing one late afternoon, all by myself.
hearing rocks plunk into the pool. Rustling in the brush behind me. Getting spooked. Packing out and walking back up out of the canyon. Knowing you are being followed/watched.
just for basics.. my younger brother and I now have a 110 acre ranch.
We have found three fresh deer kills on the property in the past two months. Mountain
Lion. We grew up out in the woods. Mountain lions don't advertise their presence.

I grew up in south Santa Cruz county CA. The Santa Cruz mountains. My younger brother and I inherited our family property recently. When I grew up, Our nearest neighbor was a mile away. Now three subdivisions surrounding our property. Silicon Valley executives
In the last two months, 3 deer kills that we have found. One only 200 yards away from the house.
When wild animals no longer have any place left to go.
