Pig farm dude admitted to spending under £250 on her hen night. To my surprise, they were still together as of 2 years ago. To no one's surprise, Vegas couple divorced 9 months later. He decided to take a job abroad but she wanted to stay in the UK. As of 2 years ago, she has a new partner, he's still friends with Elvis and they still go to Vegas. Oktoberfest couple actually stayed together and had a 3rd child. Still not married from what I can find.
@conesler1506 😂 😂 my first few ideas got rejected because she would have liked them. I picked oktoberfest but the producers made it all about beer. I didn't want to get married in an old brewery and I certainly wouldn't have sent my missus to one for her hen do! 😂 😂
The 2nd wedding, they divorced 9 months later because he wanted to travel Vegas lots and she didn't want to so he broke up with her. She's settled down and happy and he's off travelling with his best mate haha. He was a complete twat.
Oh he was, don't get me wrong, but they were completely incompatible anyway. Literally wanting the exact opposite out of life. The only way they would have stayed together would have been if one compromised and gave up what they wanted for the other. I'm glad she's not doing that for him but even if he was not a twat, the relationship would have been doomed from start.

I really hope the brides are in on this, cause these grooms were horrible. I hate the whole excuse of 'she knew I couldn't plan a wedding, it's her fault for putting me in charge' Like sir you didn't even try. It's okay if things go wrong, but these guys just hate their partners, like they don't even want to make them happy. These women just want to feel special and loved. Me and my girls can have an awesome time at the local pub, but it would hurt that the person planning it didn't put any effort in. Organise some fun games, hire entertainment, get an activity to do. It doesn't have to be expensive, just try a little bit.
There was a gay couple and the groom with the money made the wedding Harry Potter themed and the bride/groom cried because he does not like Harry Potter. The show definitely goes out of their way to greenlight the selfish person getting the money.
it's just another trash TV reality show, i wouldn't bother getting my pants in a twist over it. the shows are like this by design, and just like all other reality-tv, you should never conflate shows like this as representative of actual "reality". Drama and being provocative is the whole name of the game, it was never intended to be a "wholesome" tv show about grooms planning weddings, because that premise would go stale after episode 2. if these weddings were just "bland", normal and inoffensive, the show would be considered too "boring" and have no spunk to it. which leaves two options; either go completely over the top to fulfill insane dream wedding scenarios, but that would require a massive budget from the showrunners, OR the cheaper and simpler option that they went with, which is to deliberately focus on "quirkiness" and weirdos while hamming up the drama with probably a decent amount of behind-the-scenes prompting aswell. the mantra of reality-tv is that normal well-adjusted people don't make good TV, and will rarely, if ever, be represented in shows like this. you also seemed to have missed the fact that the show is delibrately giving the grooms strong budget restrictions. the second groom was given 12k as the budget for his entire wedding, when we look up the cost of an average wedding in the UK during this time period (2010), we can see that it barely makes up half of what would be expected for a normal wedding budget sitting around £24k (and that's probably only counting everything that's part of the wedding itself, not additional things like stag dos, which they also have spend the budget on in this show). the grooms are 100% being set up by the producers in such a way that they are more likely to fail. there is probably also a few requirments by the TV contract they are forced to follow, like every wedding needing to have a "theme".
There was one episode i watched there the groom organised a fairytale themed wedding for his fiancee. He even had a dress designed for her. He had the best man "object" and fight for her hand. And the bar was chemist themed because that was her job. She was in tears the entire time because he couldn't have done it more right. That was the best one I've seen
