Matt !!! That is ONE SICK BOAT!!! OMGosh - What a turn-out. Personally, better than most anyone imagined to start - hat's off to ya (and crew)!!! Def pat yerselves on the back with this one! :) ------- Earlier, we talked of cooling the engine compartment (if needed at all) ... I dropped back on a few vlogs to grab info and configurations. I believe that motor is "fresh" water cooled with an intake drawing in, circulating around head(s)/combustion chambers and discharging out !?! So "high" temps shouldn't be; typical fresh water wouldn't be 80 to 90F ... as long as those water chambers stay clean, cooling shouldn't be an issue. So -- to deal with the exhaust temps that will build ... That muffler (combo mixing chamber???), if I remember correctly, is made (or intended) to take on water to "muffle" and to cool. The chamber location was below the exhaust manifold with a weird "twist" or kink to keep water from reaching the manifold -- part of the "cooling" plumbing discharge goes to that to ensure to "keep" water "in" while the motor is running (researching that design is wise if temps get too high [metal surfaces around motor]). There are electric fans available (for cars) that are "thermostatically" controlled (temp can be set for upper and lower limits). You can either push or pull the air across left side of motor (directed channel/tunnel) from the kick panel in the co*kpit area. If heat were to become an issue (or is) we can talk more! :) Be Safe
Console back further and the lean post seat ontop of the motor. That how I would have done it. But I’m not building it. It turned out so sick. Good shit bro
Thanks. I'm pretty positive that the wieght distribution should be spot on. There's literally a 180 horsepower. 4 cylinder car engine in the back deck lol.
Amazing looking boat. I would leave the motor cowling unturfed myself. And put the “TRICKED TINS” logo on the sides and back. It would be cool if there was a way to install a swing away seat behind the console. That way when you don’t want to sit down it would be out of the way and leave it wide open for space.
Thanks Bob! Im turf'n the motor hatch. Might throw some vents in it? Idk yet? 🤷♂️ customer wants to install his own seats. We'll see what happens. Footage at the end of this video was recorded Friday! Things change everyday!
Man it turned out great! Your weld and metal fab skills are something special. I’m not sure I would turf the engine cover. Maybe let your guy paint it same color of boat or have it powder coated. Either way I’m sure you’ll make it look awesome.
If I was the owner of the boat I would have you do everything 100% from top to bottom. I feel that the owner and his welders screwed up the work that was done for him and called to my problems. This is my feeling! From what I see I feel that they disrespecting your involvement. I guess it bothers me when individuals disrespect people when they try to work together as a team and they destroy and do not listen to the other person's reasoning and why did what they did. I just feel they disrespect you. I'm sorry about what I see this although in the end, there's a great job and you do excellent if I ever could do that I would have you do it. You're living the dream that I would love to do and yes dude in my terminal medical condition problems I can't do it anymore. Sincerely! R.S.V.

Thanks brotha. We'll see how she does on the test run
Dude it’s badass that dark color is gonna be hot as heck. Only thing I’d change man.
It’s killer
Thanks brotha

@@TRICKEDTINS yeah that is true. I didn’t account for that.
Build looks killer , make sure you put vents for the engine and a blower so the boat doesnt blow up from gas vapors.
I will

I like what you did with the lights. I'm in the process of redoing the floor in an old aluminum SeaKIng boat.
Appreciate it. Goodluck with the project!
AWESOMW!!!!! I can't wait to see the turf installed and watch this boat scream! Great job, Matt, this is one awesome custom build!
Thanks its definitely been a long journey!
WOW! Boat is sick. Came out great. Trailer, hatch lids, paint, and lights. Can't wait for the final video on this project.
You and me both! Thanks brotha!
Man, if you could put a smaller displacement engine and make that back deck flat. Be even dope-r. No doubt the 180Hp is a beast though
I agree. I think I'm going to build another one...
@@TRICKEDTINS I’m in!! 💪🏽💪🏽
I absolutely love this build. Can't fkn wait for the reveal. You're killing it bro. Keep grinding.
Thanks brotha. Its Sick AF
No b.s ,the boat looks great ,two thumbs up.
Thanks brotha
Insanity…
YINTIN ON STEROIDS!

Its already powdercoated. Im turf'n it. Full send!
That boat kicks ass dude! One of those bright drain plug lights would look sweet when that bitch is ripping through the water at night.
Thanks brotha! That would be sweet.

Thanks, brotha. It's all good, man. Sometimes, you just gotta roll with the punches. If it were easy, then everyone could do it.
What welder do u use
I like Miller. We have over 60 welding machines in our fleet, but I use a Dynasty 210 at the shop and a Diversion 180 at home.
Leaning post sounds like the move
It would definitely be cool
She about to get wet wet hahaha sick build man!
Thanks brotha
