As a non-Jewish Holocaust & Genocide Scholar, I constantly struggle to find anything positive when teaching this topic, because I continually to see far too much negativity toward the Jewish people, including from other marginalized and abused groups, despite their centuries long struggle against horrific bigotry (approximately 2000 years to be exact). So hearing this is incredibly uplifting and inspiring to me, and gives me hope that just maybe we becoming more open minded & open-hearted!
