Knife blanks are typically not hardened until the edges are initially shaped. The edges are given a rough taper so that less material will have to be removed after it is hardened. Removing material from a hardened blade takes a lot longer.
I'm recommending you put links in the description to all the tools you used. That way anyone who wants to take on a similar project, has everything they need.
That did have a lot of layers of rust damn but it came out great I really like how the handle looks 👍thanks for bringing it to us all the best to ya !!
Very beautiful knife 🔪 It was very bad rusty. You did great job! You took care of knife 🔪 I’m sure Knife Collectors want to buy your amazing knives. I’m one of them to collect the knives. Great creator! Great toolmaker! See ya next time! 😊
Por las llagas de Cristo!!! Que manera tan alargada de llevar las cosas. Sugiero que veas algún tutorial para eliminar óxidos en materiales metálicos. Es ETERNO el proceso que haces!!. Me queda claro que estamos ante un principiante. 😢
Dagger be lookin' hella dope, Lost & Restored! Now it needs an equally dope sheath!

Outstanding restoration!

NICE 👌👌
Those tin snips could be a future project.
Was just about to comment that 😅
Класс 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Nice job. Love the handle! But your next restoration needs to be your tin snips!
Splendid job as always. But in my opinion, adding a guard would have been better, and the grip is somewhat too thick
To check the temper, run a file along the edge. If it skates, it is hard. If it bites, it is not tempered. Heat it up and quench in oil.
Being a blank, it became what YOU wanted it to be. Very Nice!
Супер 👍👍👍😊
Nice little butter knife. 🤣
i cant believe the screw drivers did not help at all!!
Не понравился результат (. Заточка какая-то примитивная получилась, а не кинжал.
Вау 😊😊😊😊😊
what if the tools you use to removed the rust gets rusty
Need to rust remove those snips
This isnt really a knife, though, that's a dagger.
👍👍❤❤

Retempering it might be a good idea.
