I've had the same thought, but when I tried out all the clipboard managers I could find ClipX worked the best for my requirements (lightweight, simple, easy to use). Lack of updates isn't a deal breaker as long as it continues to work well, and so far so good so I'm sticking with it :)
I was afraid of that - I haven't tried out Windows 8 yet, but the one negative of ClipX is that it hasn't been updated in a while. It's quite possible that Windows 8 changed how the clipboard works. I'm glad to hear ArsClips works, since it was my second choice next to ClipX. Thanks for the kind words :)
Didn't work for me, possibly because I'm using Windows 8. But ArsClip seems to be working fine. You did a great job of explaining the benefits of a clipboard manager.
@Jud What photo editor are you using? It's likely the photo editor that's saying the clipboard is almost full. Windows (at least Windows 7, I'm not sure about Windows 8) saves only the last item in the clipboard.
i am using clipx for more than 2 years now its more handly with a simple and clean interface, i wish it had a cloud sync api to sync clips with apps on other devices
Great video, but the last update to the program was in 2008. Is this program better that Clipman, Clipboard Magic, Free Clipboard viewer, Pastebin, Ditto, and others?
I need a basic explanation of how, with my new Windows 8 Notebook, I can see where "the clipboard" is. I have edited several photos and when I click "save," there's a flash box that says, "saved - clipboard," then it disappears. Lately, I've gotten a message that says, "Clipboard almost full." How do I open "clipboard"? Thanks.
It says: in XP book, it auto deletes! < /cont 4'''dy(x)p''''P-WAVE f(x)=c''''_cmd void cell = search clipboard ops images txt in linear markers > freq structures = 2x2 fx isn't mono e mono / >
OK, I know I'm a dummie, but can someone tell me where to find the damn clipboard? I think it's Windows7 that I'm on. That probably makes a difference. You don't need to bother wasting time making fun of me, I already know I'm stupid!

Sweet! I'm gonna start using it.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

That would be a nice feature. Ditto has that if you're willing to switch applications.

With Clipx and ArsClip is there any way to keep the windows open
for multiple pastes?

Yes, ARSClip was my second choice next to ClipX
Das beste Tool für mehrere Zwischenablagen innerhalb Windows!
