Your grandfather is a Legend in the industry, one of Jamaica's greatest producers. One thing though, I am worried about him going up and down those stairs seeing that he is experiencing pain in his knees. Is it possible for you to encourage him to build railings so he can hold on to while he is using those stairs? A a Legend we have to help keep him safe because he has many more artist to mentor and we is fans are looking forward to gear bew stuff from the genius.

Oh wow, what can I say right now because I’m speechless 😮 I’ve been following Chris Must List throughout his Jamaica travels and have been amazed throughout watching happy, sad and every type of emotion of his experience but this is the absolute best one yet for me meeting my idol King Jammy in his studio as I would cut off my right arm to have sat there through that interview with king himself. Big up Chris for being so respectful as Jammy was a bit apprehensive at the beginning then he warmed to Chris as he could tell he was being 100% genuine and sees how he loves Jamaica and the culture ❤ Imagine how Kusticks is gonna feel knowing Chris has introduced the king to his raw and beautiful talent and I can’t wait to see how this progresses 🔥 Chris you’re a true and loyal ambassador to the Jamaican talent out there. Nuff love and bless you my brother.

Grand Rising @ Chris Must List, I say thank you for an awesome interview with the great King Jammys. Thank you for your love and kindness that you spread wherever you go around the world ❤
So glad you went to waterhouse and went to st lucia rd to interview the legend king jammys. Great to hear king tubby from 18 drumallie Ave, Waterhouse get mentioned. osbourne Ruddock aka Tubby is the foundation of sound system and dub music.he had the best quality sound system in Jamaica before the police smashed it up in mid 1970s and he devloped equipment and ways of doing things that have become the cornerstone of sound sytems today. He was crowned king by the people of Jamaica. He was a self taught electronics genious and pioneer who started off repairing domestic radios etc and went on to look after other studios equipment as well as building his own and building amplifiers for others. He was a pioneer of remixing, the inventor of dub and introduced the use of effects many he developed himself by modifying equipment. Without him sound system and many music genres would not be what they are today and he is arguably the most influencial and important person in studio techniques and sound system the world has known. Over recent years he has started to get the worlwide recognition he deserves.. Sadly he was murdered in 89 leaving behind a wife and daughter living on sherlock ave. Jammy was one of king tubbys apprentice engineers mixing dub at 18 drumallie ave in 70s and produced black uhuru and mighty travellers first releases before Jammy went on to be king in the digital era after producing the massive sleng teng ryhthm in late 80s/early 90s. So much talent over the years from waterhouse..studio wise, sound system and artist wise...michael rose, llacsley castell etc..waterhouse is an important place musically and notorious for gang violence so it good to see someone willing to visit there and show the positive side of life in kingson 11. Loving your videos Chris and love how you support talent like koustics and spread positive vibes.
