Robert “Bobby Digital” Dixon was one of reggae and dancehall’s key producers of the 1990s and 2000’s, having developed his craft as a key part of King Jammy’s influential production team in the 1980s. Dixon initially helped bring Shabba Ranks to prominence, produced key tracks for Admiral Tibet, Garnett Silk, Morgan Heritage, and brought Sizzla into the prime of his career with the LP Black Woman & Child in 1997. Despite his nickname and association with Jammy’s digital sound, Dixon was very effective and influential in bringing back the live drum sound in the 1990s and early 2000s, prominently heard on Sizzla’s “Good Ways” and Da Real Thing LP and Morgan Heritage “Don’t Haffi Dread."
The Bobby Digital Story documentary was originally included as part of VP Records' Reggae Anthology Series release X-Tra Wicked in 2018. This collection and its follow-up, Serious Times, provide a thorough overview and retrospective on the producer’s career and catalog.

What is di plan? Place to sleep on the visit is like having ur own studio to work in
The way they weee getting instant feedback from their sub plates is the same reason ATL is winning in hip hop. There’s a culture down here for rappers and producers to from the studio to the strip club and the y play the music for the strippers. If the strippers and the guys in there love it they know it’s a hit. Instant feedback never fails.
where's The RZA ? ? ?
I know a guy in Brooklyn that calls his sound digital and his name is Bobby and he's Grenada
