My band has used this amp on our last two albums to add a layer to the guitar, and even run some distorted vocals. Great little tool to get that dirty sound.
@@BruceLyeg did it work with the headphones plugged in at least? Or it was just done completely? I just bought this yesterday to go with my Traveler lite, so if (or more likely when) the speaker goes, I would at least still have my headphones.
Sounds good even through my phone. My buddy had a similar amp called a "pig nose" he found at a second hand music shop and loved it. It literally had a chrome pig nose on it! Be careful with the Sabbath songs, Tony Iommi gets pissed off when he feels that other guitarists are stealing his riffs.
Thanks. I've seen the pig nose amps before but never heard one. I'm not to worried about pissing off Tony, what's he gonna do? hit me with half a hand? lol
@@flyawayhorses So you wanna get the audio from your mixer into the big 1/4" plug at the top. On one of it's sides the HoneyTone Amp has a mini plug out. I think is on the left side I can't remember. You wanna go from that mini to your main amp/monitors. You might need to convert from mini to 1/4. It creates a very warm, vintange, low fi sound!
Things pretty decent. Just got one today and if you're a guitar player learning and want a small amp for the room to practice with and have decent distortion then this is for you
That's exactly what I bought mine for. Practice in my room, without bothering my wife and kids too much. They can hear me, but it lets me practice "electric" stuff I can't do unplugged. For $20, it's hard to beat.

Hey Madworkx. Yes, pretty sloppy playing but I try. I really like this little amp, it's great to just have sitting on the desk or to take outside. Maybe even traveling. Have a great weekend too!
Great video thanks brother. Like the little amp great sound. Rock on brother. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks again brother. Great review
I don’t think so. It isn’t loud enough for that. If there’s traffic and people making noises around it’ll probably get drowned out by their sounds. A regular 10amp mini amp would work. I have a GWL amp that runs on a 9V battery that would work perfectly
Wonder how large the actual speaker inside it is. Could probably mount it inside a guitar as a feedbacker without having to cut through the whole body.
I had it apart at one point. The speaker isn't very deep at all, it would easily fit in most guitars without having to cut through the whole body. Interesting Idea!
Thanks! I keep my bigger amps and guitars downstairs but I keep this little amp on my desk in the family room. I mostly use it when I can't sleep and learn new music. Have a great day.

Great for bands like AC-DC playing in their hotel room 😂
I'm sure they try to keep the noise down when staying in hotels as to not disturb the other guests.
Or going canoeing with a few of your buds and don't have access to an outlet.
But not for pantera 😑
You can actually use it as an effect pedal to get that super vintage sound by passing audio thought it back to a bigger amp.
