Sondors Fat Tire Electric Bike Setup for Surf Fishing

- I converted my Sondors Fat Tire Electric Bike into my surf fishing bike. My Sondors fat tire e-bike in which I modified it to surf fish works awesome for me. I wanted a fat tire e bike so I could travel up and down the beach searching for good surf fishing spots. I needed a bike to be fast and hold all my fishing gear. I searched on FB Marketplace and found this fat tire Sondors e-bike used. The modifications to turn it into a fishing bike were pretty easy. On Amazon I found a company called Ibera which makes a lot of bike racks and bike bag add ons. First thing I ordered was a bike rack and then the Ibera Trunk Bag which clips into place. These bags became my fishing tackle bags. The have plenty of room and zippered pockets to hold all my fishing tackle. I cable tied 3 rod holders to the bike rack and they carry my surf fishing rods. My fat tire e-bike is pedal assisted or you can just use the throttle and not pedal at all. If you use the throttle, this e-bike can go around 20mph. I hope my fishing bike setup gives you some ideas.

I've ben thinking of doing the same thing. I think Florida has very limited beach access. This opens up so many spots to fish. 2 questions, how is it in soft sand and what do you do with fish you want to keep?
I highly recommend a setup like this. You can be all over the place in no time flat. It does good in softer sand but I prefer the harder pack stuff like when the tide is going out. Good question on the fish. All i've done is catch and release so far. I do have a cooler backpack that I could use or I could use a long stringer and keep them in the water until I'm ready to leave.
Haha I had the same question. When you catch that state record fish, you're going to have to strap it to something for the ride back. Totally worth it

Please show how to make rod holder for one pole for back rack.
It's easy. Just grab a single rod holder from somewhere and just use zip ties to attach it to your bike.

Cool bike, man! Surf fishing has always seemed like it would be cool, but living on Sand Mountain kind of limits the opportunities for surf fishing. LOL!
