Why provide housing schemes in LEH area…? What happened to the BACK TO VILLAGE scheme..? I feel it’s much better to develop the villages and provide a better employment opportunities at village level itself so that we don’t have to migrate to urban areas and put further stress on the already crowded areas.
I urge reach Ladakh please have one session on recruitment that held under ssc that was ment for Ladakhi students but unfortunately we found non local there.. we have been again fooled by our people..

Hope for define protocol for Hill Council soon:: after 3year UT administration could not able to set up a proper office :: still manage with rent building ... Its just a shame on fund received after become UT
Ur opinion about 6th Schedule demand is completely valid. We ladakhis don't necessarily need 6th schedule only. There can be a new schedule for ladakh with respect to our cultural diversity. We need protection on job, land/property environment, culture, be it 6th schedule or some other schedule, doesn't matter. Moreover 6th schedule is for extremely backward regions where ppl are still living in jungles with their animals, their unique culture and identity, ppl who is completely cut off with basic necessities like internet connection, electricity, roads and many more. Those ppl still wear leaves around their body as a culture and tradition. Andaman and nicobar, and some parts of nagaland is the example of 6th schedule deserving places. We ladakhis have 2,3 vehicles parked in our courtyard in each family, and we say we r poor and backward. Mainlanders will laugh at us, if we give such illogical statements. Constitutional safeguard is needed but not necessarily 6th schedule. That's the bottom line.

What about representation and answering the concerns raised. The answers and agenda though lists the sectors division for works within which mostly sounds like an implementation body for the centre and not a free peoples representative body.
For you kind attention transfer policy is not applicable in Ladakh especially the inter district transfer policy framed by UT administration looks good on papers only..
Lahdc leh should lead with Kargil lahdc for establishment of a separate UT level recruiting body like jkssb, to empower the young minds of Ladakh.
1. Current dispensation is ignoring a major segment of the society which would affect the future of the whole Ladakh i.e the students and their futures.
2. This govt only appeases and tries to attracts the elderly section of Ladakh but ignores the youth and students only for a reason that elders are easier to fool.
3. And I guess every household in Ladakh has one or two students. These students must strongly make their family members understand what this current govt is doing for Ladakh.
4. The employment posts suddenly decreased from 7-8 thousand to mere 300-400.
5. And as for the ruling members, plz awaken your conscience. You people are Ladakhi too, do not sell Ladakh in the name of funds.
