In episode #7, we have Dr. Tsering Landol, Ladakh’s first gynaecologist. She received Padma Bhushan award in 2020 and Padma Shri in 2006. Her name is listed among the thousand peace women of the world. In this episode, we discuss women's health and how to stay healthy during pregnancy.
She pursued her matriculation from Government High School, Leh and studied medical science from Government Girls Medical College, Srinagar. She joined SNM hospital in the year 1979. She has worked and achieved significantly in promoting family planning and institutional deliveries in Ladakh.
She is also featured on the 'Wall of Fame' which features those who have exhibited excellence throughout their career or existence have exemplified glory and greatness.
