- 🇻🇳 Chào mọi người! I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm finally back in Vietnam! I didn't think Vietnam would open its border until later this year, but Vietnam clearly has moved past covid. Last night, we walked right in with a simple PCR test and a vaccine certificate, and after a night's sleep, we had to get back into our "Vietnam routine". Coffee, riding motorbikes, cơm bình dân, friendly locals that we used to see everyday, you name it, it's back.
Additionally, as I explained in this video, now that I'm back in Vietnam, I will continue to make Vietnamese content on this channel. This is where I started my UA-cam adventures, this is the country that supported me from the very beginning, and this is my home. Out of respect for Vietnam, this channel will be dedicated to my time here.

It's good to be back home in Vietnam! I've missed the people, the food, and the way of life of the country I called home for 3 years. Now I'm back to stay! I’m so excited to see you guys back in Vietnam, for you as well as for me as a viewer. The line about having “left your jokes behind in Vietnam” struck a chord with me! When you live in a place so long, you do accumulate a lot of humor and running jokes, and when you go back home, you realize You’ve also left behind all the people who will get those jokes… it was a major part of “reverse culture shock“ for me.
