    That's probably the best red trail edit I've seen, good footage, no unnecessary commentary, excellent audio, the only negative IS YOU'RE A LOT FASTER THAN ME!! Well done...

      bob manwaring noticed last night there is not much good footage on you tube for Dalby. That’s why I’ve come back today to do the black World Cup route. Look out for it in a few weeks time. And thanks for the kind words. It means a lot 👊

    Great vid Andy. Dalby is right on my door step, some great sections but the climbs are so draining.

    Just bought a mountain bike (too late) into my furlough, 25 years of motorbikes and time for something to do when race tracks are shut. Stumbled upon you, particularly the Grizedale peak one, & am inspired: I literally cannot wait till it arrives & I can head up the m6.
    Not usually this excited unless I’m racing: cheers bud, I think you’ve started an addiction

    Great vid mate, I defo enjoy the vid. You got the best chin cam angle balance between seeing handlebar and trail ahead. Many vids turn out to be handlebar dancing videos with chin cam mount & the trails aren't well seen like yours. Keep up great work!

    Really enjoyed this video, shows flowing Dalby is and how well they have put it together. I have been to Dalby with my mate, who I do this channel with, and my family and i was just wondering if you could run through the blue trail if possible as i think young families with children from 7-17 don't just have to do the red route and will have an idea of the blue route before heading there so if that's possible then i will be super greatful.

      Trail-Finder I’m getting in to MTB and based in West Yorkshire.. just binge watched all your vids!! 💪🏻💪🏻Every video gets better than the last! The only trail I have hit so far is Leeds as it it close to me but your videos are persuading me to start exploring more.. i love that you look for trails where you can actually ride rather than focusing on jumps which I can’t do! 😂👍🏼🤛

    I'm heading out to do this with my mountain bike buddies next week but I'm heading out on my gravel bike. I found the blue trail easy. Do you reckon I can do it on a gravel bike (with 40mm Schwalbe g one Ultrabites)

    • @TrailFinder
      @TrailFinder  3 роки тому +1

      I think it would be good fun on a gravel bike. A few sections you would have to get off and push though.

    Great video pal .dalby gets a lot of stick but ive never understood why as it's great if you can hold your speed . personally love the place and every time I go I always think why don't I come more often .

    • @TrailFinder
      @TrailFinder  6 років тому

      knott 4me completely agree. It’s great if you have the fitness to keep the speed up. I’ve actually been back today to ride and film the black World Cup route. Never done it before or even seen it. I really liked it. Did 2 laps.

    • @takegoodcareoftheforestdew5339
      @takegoodcareoftheforestdew5339 5 років тому +2

      I have to disagree. The red is a joke. It's so smooth for the majority of the loop that it could be wheel chair accessible. The only thing red about it is it's long save for a couple of very short sections. The vid is a great edit, but it really shows up the boring nature of the trail.
      The trail builders should be ashamed given how much better the off piste stuff is.

  • @daz-ride

    I just did the red route at the weekend, managed to get round in 2 hour 4 minutes in my hardtail 29er. I'm off back this weekend to see if I can break through the 2 hour mark. What sort of times are people getting?

    • @TrailFinder

      @daz-ride 2 роки тому

      I admitted there was no traffic though, and was a cold day, so the ground was hard. Would love to have a go on a full sus xc bike, and see how the times differ. You certainly look quicker on the down hill sections

    Good video mate. I’ve done Sheerwood Pines red route 4 times now on my Hardtail Giant Fathom. That’s literally the only trail riding I’ve done as I’m a newby. Would you say I’d be ready to tackle Dalby red route yet or is it much harder? (I’m assuming you’ve done Sheerwood Pines haha!)

    • @TrailFinder
      @TrailFinder  5 років тому +1

      BradVentures it’s a little hillier than sherwood. But it’s a lot better in every way. The only thing that might catch you out if your new to biking is the mileage of the red route. It’s 21 miles. If you can manage that then you will love it

    • @TrailFinder
      @TrailFinder  4 роки тому +1

      The actual trail yes. Nothing difficult on it. It was one of my 1st rides when I started in 2016. It’s just the distance that may catch a newbie out. 21 miles.

    • @TrailFinder
      @TrailFinder  4 роки тому +1

  • @TAZMON20

    Dalby is pretty good, for me the best trail is long way down as it's quick and flowy, the rest of Dalby needs some work, especially the XC Black route,

    How have you got your twin lock on the bottom of the bars? Mines on the top

    • @TrailFinder
      @TrailFinder  5 років тому +1

      Autistic Buiscit all SCOTT genius bikes from 2016 onwards have twinloc under the bar. The reason been because of 1x drive trains. I’d guess you have a front derailleur. That’s why yours is on top

    • @TrailFinder
      @TrailFinder  6 років тому

      It’s 2000ft of climbing over 22 miles. With all the natural riding/climbing I do. I class 2000ft over 22 miles as a flat ride 😂 it all depends on what your used to. WhT trail centre do you usually ride at ?

    • @tu9022
      @tu9022 6 років тому

      the nearest one near me is sherwood pines it’s flat as and not very long either, it’s a bad area where I live there’s not many centres round us without going 60+ miles
