Keep them coming my friend, I remember this game when it first came out and just started playing it again as well, about the same time. What a change in the game to the positive!
Building basically tower defense in this game is so fun. Watching the horde run your gauntlet was HIGHLY amusing the first few game days my friend and I played.

The difference between the 2 different types of Iron. From the ore you make iron bars. The pieces are for ammunition etc.
Actually, I think that's a really great spot. We built our base just between those 2 huge silo's. Never had any problems with "being to far away" from anything.
And later on you get motorcycles.

Build your base on immortal structures ex. Bldg. Roof tops. Theres a top tier base somewhere near the police department that has enclose walls, mansion like building with only one entry point.
You will have a very hard time repairing your structures if you dont use the immortal structures.
Also guns will be useful on boss fights. So conserve your ammos
Im not great at fighting games, so I don't play them often, but I love to watch others play. Great series so far Im really enjoying it. Keep them coming. Thanks for sharing.

Pigs are good. Possibly the best animal you can hunt. Cooked pig feet increase your max energy by 20. Cooked good meat also increase max energy. Pigs give both. And the mutated rabbit gave me my favorite unique weapon, but it wasn't easy finding it. In fact, it found me. Aggressively.

Nothing a holy grenade can't handle. You should see the mutant rabbits in this game, though. And I'm serious!
Poor Bors didn't take the rabbit seriously...and look how that ended!

You might want to kill the pigs and boars whenever you can, more so the pigs since they are rarer than the boars, The skin is needed for upgrades and pigs foot when cooked will give you a hp buff. Looking forward to this series.
if you keep doing quest you can't play the game, there are more than 20 quest per questline :)
best line of action is to do the story questline to unlock new building and veichles, the rest you can easily do building your base and crafting your gear as you go
the first mission bring you close to the first city, you can build your horde base there, you a can find a few flat spot just on the skirt of town that can offer good building spot, with room to expand while the horde get tougher
p.s. you probably didn't realize, but the first building you looted reward you with cooling water, one very rare and important piece of loot at the beginning of the game :D
The guns and melee weapons get better when you explore the harder areas.

There's two types of quest: the main quest line, and the side tutorial quests. Don't get hung up on the side quests because they are essentially infinite, and you'll get multiple in parallel as well. Use them as a tutorial when needed, but ignore them otherwise or you won't get anything done.

the guns are better than before, but the lightsaber (plasma sword) is better especially when using the plasma shield

This game isn't very optimized for first person play -- I like the 3rd person pov so much better for improved fov.
I need a game to keep me busy for exactly 13 days... This looks fun but the early pubg graphics are a bit of a turn off. That AI dialogue too, yuk.
