after the first few folks asked for commissions and i made them and they loved them - ahhhh! - what a joyous feeling! i will also create commissions for folks as well :)
and as the ball gets really rolling on this, i would like to monthly give away a free painting to an LGBTQ youth. just like how i would've wanted to own a piece of art from an older trans person when i was a kid, i want to give back for those who can't afford to buy one (since canvas, paint, and shipping are all quite pricy!)

I love how you said that you are making time for something you love to do even if you are so busy. That is so good for your mental health!!! Also, you are so talented :)
I'm actually not usually a fan of abstract art but these are so stunning! I've seen a few other comments mention this but I thought I'd say I'd also be interested in seeing your process, it would be cool if you did a video about that! Also I love that you're making the time to create these, especially for the benefit of your mental health, I really believe everyone should have a creative outlet like this.

These are great Sky. I write for therapy, but sometimes paint or make art from my photos. Only thing about yours is, too hard to choose which one!

I wrote a poem about one of your art pieces and I decided to post it.
An ocean is like the mind
It can be calming and comforting one moment
But then be dangerous and aggressive the next
Or even dark and somber
The monsters that lurk inside
Swim the waters of our thoughts
And submerge right below the surface
Waiting for the right moment to attack
The ocean keeps secrets
That only few will know
If they travel to the depths
Where fear and insecurity lie
But for now, the ocean is calm
Until someone stirs up the waters
I sit still awaiting my next setback
While my mind drifts off to sea
