Hey bro I've been in this situation myself a few times one of the down falls with the automatic transmission is when you're backing your brake pedal work together with the clutch so the more you use it, it will heat up and not allow you to drive the only way to fix it is to set your park brakes and give it a minute to cool down that's why the C/A came on it stands for clutch abuse. I know it's hard to do sometimes but with automatic trucks when it comes to backing you just have to watch how much breaks you're using otherwise if you use a lot of brakes when you're back and automatic truck you're going to always get that symbol coming on

Bro but what I do notice, is that you shift from D to R or R to D without even a complete stop. You’re supposed to stop the truck completely then shift your transmission otherwise that’s how the transmission starts fucking up

You Crack me up. I did toooo much in my younger years, been too many places, parties, concerts, friends. I was never truly happy. Nothing can make you truly happy, it has to come from GOD within. You find what you really like to do on earth. I love the wilderness, solitude, peace. I'd fit right in on a piece of that desert if I could live and do the things I like. People have layers to them and as you go thru life your peeling them away to what you find as real.

You inspired me to go for it and I got my CDL, just put in my hours OTR with my trainer, got my 45 backing down. And will be doing my upgrade final skills test Monday. I'm confident and will be on a dedicated route from southern Texas to Indiana, with CR england and honestly.. No complaints, some have good experiences, and some have bad experiences, mine was good. I don't know how long I wanna work for them but if things keep going good I might stay for the full year. Keep on trucking bro, and be safe out there, hope to run across your path and say what's up!

I also got trucker path app, and bought the Garmin GPS lol no more fear of coming into contact with low bridges 😄. I'm currently working as a recovery agent for CR england doing live loads and drops in between transferring trucks Between states that have our company academy terminals. It's a fun experience and I'm on my second run already, been getting to my drops about 20-24 hours early. First place took me early, this other one won't.. lol it is what it is 😄. Tomorrow I'm gonna chill in Amarillo loves stop 6 hours from me. Do my 10 reset, then 8 hour rest, then wake up for Monday and drive 2 hours to my delivery and get there an hour early. Then next is Laredo texas and possibly some hotel time lol. Oh! BTW! Garmin OTR 700 GPS has helped me maximize the use of my drive time and helped me get to my stops faster then the qualcomm! Guess I need to tap the bell I am only now getting notifications about this video.
Getting stuck like that stretched across the road made my heart drop I can't imagine how you felt.
I was driving across Nevada on 50 once in the days before cell phones. I pulled to the side and slept the night and in the morning old dodge truck wouldn't start. I have to admit that was a bit unnerving. Luckily it was just loose battery cables and I got going. The only living thing I had seen in 6 hours was a couple of coyotes and some turkeys.

Chock your wheels and depress you parking brakes and then check the brake pads and slack adjusters, your brakes can be rubbing. May be your transmission. If anything just letting your boss know is probably the best thing.

When you could get in reverse or drive anymore you may had fallen below 100psi on your air. This a common and very annoying safety feature on the automatics. When it happens to me I reach down and push down the throttle by hand. Until it’s above 100 again. Sometimes people honk, but they should know better. Like anyone is going to be sitting in the way for no reason.

    of slowing down ) . I know , I know
You just think You can't stand to go slower ... but just try it ( give it a week , I've been doing it for over 30 yrs. trust Me when I tell You it's the easiest pay raise You'll ever get , plus , Your back will thank You too )

@@chez8239 I'm glad You saw for Yourself the difference in Your mpg.
When I said it's the easiest pay raise
You'll get I meant it literally . The alternative will be exactly the opposite ! The faster You go , the more it will cost You to deliver any
load ! You have more wear & tare
on Your equipment too , especially
tires in hot weather ! Trust Me on the shorter trips You won't save much time in Your moving average mph.
If You don't believe Me see for Yourself on Your gps. ! It will prove
      it .
I used to want to run as fast as I could too , but , the older I got the more My back paid the price ( besides , You have to watch out
for the other Guys .. the One's that will hit You & total You & Your equipment almost never have insurance , trust Me on THIS one
      I know first hand )
One more thing ( just thought of )
just because Your truck can go 75
      mph. please don't think it's a good
idea to do it , specially on a two lane road , in the middle of nowhere in 98
degrees , without phone signal ! A blowout could end very badly for You ! Best case a service call w/ new tire at least $1000 ... Worst case , maybe a toe tag ( on You or OR Others ) !!!! Think about it , is it really

Those eaton auto shifts are garbage man. sometimes it helps just to set the brakes and shut the truck off and restart. Have drivers come to the shop with this issue all the time. I know when you were at swift you had the newer truck with the dt12. you can be more quick with them. the auto shifts are just so slow.

I had an automatic that did that also. The reason was because if I tapped the brakes to much it drains the air supply. I would have to stop for a few seconds put it in neutral and hit the gas pedal to raise the air pressure up again then the transmission would engage again.

Ohhh shoot bro! Your by my job 😂😂 I do the ports and I used to work at that Best Transportation on your right at 2:39 😂 … I’m with a diff company up the block tho since they pay hourly 💪🏽 and not by move. Them ports get crazy backed up. Super dope to see you passing around here man.
Update I’m @ 7:25 😂😂 bro I pass there all the time and man this area in Port Newark bro is kill or be killed man. Everybody has a savage attitude man lol. Sorry you had to experience that but yeah man. I’m pretty sure you got cut off by 30 trucks that day 😂 I hope I wasn’t one of them
    Update @ 11:05
That’s what I hate about automatics and the Freightliner especially. When your air brakes get low from constant stop & go while backing it won’t allow you to enter the gear until the air pressure is back up. ANOTHER thing too, is if you switching from reverse and drive too fast, especially without pressing the brake the transmission will get confused and not allow to enter any gear without restarting the truck. Got me a few times in a Volvo I used to drive lol
    Last thing!
Where did you get your window sun block thing?
