Solo Adventure to Padua and Venice!

- Join me on a day trip to Padua and Venice! Today I explored the beautiful city of Padua and visited Saint Anthony's Basilica, Prato Della Valle, and explored the streets of the wonderful city. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a booking for The Scrovegni Chapel, but I heard that's highly recommended to see in Padua! After spending the morning in Padua, I took a train over to the beautiful Venice. There I enjoyed strolling around the alleyways and canals and ended my day with nothing other than an aperol spritz. I hope you enjoyed this little video! It was filmed mostly on my phone, and I didn't get as many clips as usual, but I think it was a fun peek into this solo adventure of mine.

Thanks for sharing your expirience! Have you ever taken a boat to get to to Piazza San Marco and explored Grand Canal? I've been to Venezia twice. When we were first visiting Venice we took the wrong boat (water tram) and we didn't see Grand Canal 🙈 and when we were there for the second time we managed to find the right tram route 😁
Yes! All the boats can be a little confusing hahah. We also took a boat to Murano and Burano, the nearby cities with the colorful houses. It was so beautiful! I love Venice 😍

Yes! The train station Venezia Santa Lucia drops you off right in front of the grand canal!
I've been to Venice when I was little on a school trip in 3rd grade and it was awesome. We spent our time at a museum. But now I'm in Nigeria. And I'm praying I and my siblings can go back to Italy this year. So that we can stay with our dad

Yeah! So I got an Italian SIM card through Vodafone but I text and call through WhatsApp because I get 100GB (insane 😱) of data on my plan!

Hey take this feedback with a grain of salt *its your channel and I believe your content should be what you want it to be* but I think a lot of us followed you for your language related content and it was extremely exciting to see you go to Italy. I think in these type of vlog videos keeping an element of focus on that would really keep it engaging to your fan base.
I personally didn’t follow for travel vlogging but I was really excited to see what it would be like to move to Italy and try and really become part of the community and country. Including clips of conversations or interaction would be really beneficial, sharing how your learning still intermixes with the rest of this would be really cool.
I appreciate the feedback! I realize most of my followers subscribed for the language content. Maybe there are some ways I can try to film some sort of conversation but many people don’t want to be filmed, so I don’t film myself talking to others in public. Maybe once I (hopefully) make some Italian friends here I can ask them if we can have an on camera conversation. I do also have social anxiety and struggle a bit when it comes to talking to people, and it’s actually very difficult for me to film when I’m out in public, I’m easily embarrassed and feel awkward. But I will try to find a work around and maybe try filming some videos where I’m speaking in Italian so people can hear my progress. Way back in the beginning, my channel actually started with travel vlogs and I really do enjoy making them, especially for the memories. But I completely hear you and will try to incorporate more conversation 👍🏼
