Got an MVP23 a couple months ago, delivered on time and a steal of a price. Magnificent amp. When my Fender amp died last week, I ordered a Morgan RCA35. I think the late deliveries are in the past and smooth sailing from Morgan forward, at least I hope so because these amps sound fantastic are dead simple to dial in and built like tanks.
I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a PR36 Head/1X12. I love the PR12 too, but I just want to MAKE SURE I have all the clean headroom I need in a band mix, without having to be mic'd.
All these amps sound fantastic. I'm so torn on which one fits my needs the most. Leaning towards the JS12, standard PR12 and the PR36 for extra clean head room. But that tweed sounds great too and I already have a vintage 64 deluxe reverb and 66 bassman. Might need to call up Joe.
This amp line reminds me of the Swart and also the Two Rock stuff. They have a vintage Fender vibe with a tight bottom end (and who doesn't like a tight bottom end?) Personally I like to hear a little more breakup and sag in an amp sound although to be honest I don't know very much about the Morgan stuff and for all I know he does have amps that break up easier than these.
God these amps sound so good im def going to own one some day soon just amazing tone I love the badges I love how they glow that is awesoem see people attention to detail I love the sinplicity of the amps uve noticed most of the amps with amazing tones are just more simple but just amazing I really want that 20 that thing is sick lol actually J want all of them I mean these amps are just great
I'm sure Pete would love a DP signature amp... unfortunately when I google DP, the urban dictionary gave me a complete new vision of tight, deep and full... tones!
Agree! The lack of FX loop on his amps is a big turn-off for me... Since his amps are built by the same company than Dave Friedman, he would gain by getting Friedman FX loop circuit, just like 65Amps did on the Whiskey and Lil Whiskey.
True but to be fair, that was also when he was building amps by himself. Now, his amps are built by "Boutique Amp Distribution", the same factory that build amps and pedals for Friedman, 65Amps, Bogner, Wampler, etc... So the production and support is not an issue anymore; surely not when you buy an amp in a store (such Andertons) and not directly as a "custom made" from Joe directly (which might be a good amp designer, but clearly lack some kind of work ethic and professionalism to deal with customers, or just interact with other human beings)
Phil Smith well aware. But his past actions make me stay far away. I’m well aware of boutique amps distribution. They’re fine. I have a Friedman and quite a few other things from there. They do all the boutique pedals as well but I trusted Dave way before “BAD”he’s a good guy. U still don’t take $$ and send no amp. At least say hey I’m overwhelmed here’s ur $$$ Back. Don’t hide n have no contact number or email. Sorry he’s #pathetic.
Sorry, but irrelevant... everything you're saying about Joe Morgan was before it was take care by Boutique Amp Distribution and before it was sold in stores such Andertons, Sweetwater, etc... So now when you buy a Morgan Amp, you pay and deal with a store... you don't have to deal with the amp designer, just like most people that buy a car don't have to deal with the car designer. It's your choice to stay away from the brand and even call Joe Morgan all names, I'm not arguing that (and honestly don't care), but the examples you're giving here are not valid anymore since they don't exist anymore. That's my point. The fact is that in the end, everyone got their amps, and now the production is just as smooth as Friedman, Bogner, 65Amps, Wampler, etc... since it's the same factory.
Fair point but there are still people out there with orders that were never fulfilled. That's unacceptable. I understand getting behind as a one man operation but how do you completely ignore orders and just keep the money?
Oh the that's the guy (Joe Morgan) who thinks playing videogames while being interviewed on a live talk show is normal and that the hosts and people of that show don't matter while doing that. ua-cam.com/video/qe_x8YPjvLs/v-deo.html And see him being the "great" guy with the Captain and Danish Pete.... blegh I'm suprised he does not play videogames here...

9:25 Background Bea!
OMG Pete on Josh Smith's Morgan Tweed signature amp was orgasmically good!
MAN ALIVE! The Josh Smith Morgan amp is THE amp of NAMM! WHOOHOO!!!
I still remember that amazing jam with Capt and Pete last year in the same room.
Pete was clearly impressed.
Sick intro! Killing it Danish Pete!!
WOW these amps sound amazing!!
I want a Morgan amp so bad!
Beautiful Amp, sounds good too.
That "Tweedless 20" would look right at home in any living room. Very classy.
Pete can make any amp sound good. but these were damn sweet!
In pete's tone we trust! NICE AMP!
Cool amps. I love the logo too.
I have a SWR 50 that is a killer amp. The Josh Smith amp sounded great here.

I couldn't see what guitar pete was playing? (The blue one) which model etf. Can anyone help me out? :o
Thanks!
Great amps Mr. Morgan!
Pete’s my favorite player from this channel.
Tweed 20 is nasty. Where’s the reverb coming from? Is the a pedal in the front of the amp?

Danish Pete sounds good usual
Morgan needs to release the ultimate ac30 of the future, basically an ac40 deluxe with an added abbey channel, an fx loop and a line out.
We need a comparison of this to the PR12
Great Amps!!!
Joe, please, please make a PR12 Synergy Preamp!

Joe seems like a super cool guy!

Time to start saving for Josh Smith PR12.......
that prs MT15 tho
Could you guys check out KSR amps if they're there?
I would love a Pr 36
4:19 Saruman lives
Doug Rappoport in the background @3:25
I guess I just don't get the Morgan thing.
Here for pete 😂
Fender has had a bunch of 4x12's. The real questions is why are their heads and cabs so sparse compared to their combos.
Because they are stuck in the past
Is that RJ's guitar?
Lee hates 4X12's 😖
4:20 BILLY CONNELLEY! haha
only 4x12 fender cab ive seen was covered in the worst grey carpet looking stuff -_-
My god
Joe Morgan can do no wrong, but I would love to see a Morgan Amp with an FX loop.
Agree! The lack of FX loop on his amps is a big turn-off for me... Since his amps are built by the same company than Dave Friedman, he would gain by getting Friedman FX loop circuit, just like 65Amps did on the Whiskey and Lil Whiskey.
Big go to TGP and type in Morgan amps.
Your interrupting Joe's video game time!
PR12 for sure piss off the guy next door
I have heard way too many complaints about this guy. Pass
Scott Moreau yep

These amps are only good for blues, and rock, nothing else. you jazz/fusion players are out of luck. Look elsewhere.

Agree. I love when Pete asks if it's footswitchable. Of course not.
