Really enjoyed watching this video. It's great to listen to the founder explain the journey of Morgan amps as opposed to a rep that would repetitively spin the marketing lines over and again. This has made me GAS for a Morgan now!

I've got a Morgan AC20 Deluxe and its probably the greatest amp I've played through, and I've had a few! Its nice to know that the man behind the brand seems like a really decent bloke.

Love the guy, the sound of the amps, the fuzz (obviously, I am not really a fuzz guy) but I especially love his honesty. When I can afford one, I'll try and get a Morgan for my clean needs.

I would be aware of Joe Morgan. I once ordered an AC20 a while back, paid up front and it took about an year until I realized the dude just scammed me. I am simply amazed this guy is still in business!!
It's funny to read all the comments praising Joe Morgan. I also thought he was a super cool guy and went ahead and bought a 2K amp directly from him. Big mistake!! He's a BS-artist and never delivered on his promises. BEWARE!!

Unfortunately I know very little about the different Morgan amp choices- and after watching for 21 minutes I still don't know. Not that it wasn't entertaining.

Ok explain this one to me as you would explain it to a small child. Why does an amplifier have to be mic'd up and put through another amplifier? This has been going on for years and in todays age of technology seems absolutely redundantly stupid so why continue to do it? Are today's guitar amps still not up to the job of doing what they were built to do in the first place?

Why do they need to mic up the guitar amp to then play it through a second amp. Aww c'mon to fuck why am I explaining this a second time to you. The first time was clearly explained. What the fuck are you not getting here?
Calm down. You want the small child explanation, and so I'm double checking your interesting use of language to ensure I get this in one go. First of all, there is no second amp. I would even go as far as to say the large majority of players out there don't use a second amp the way you're suggesting either. If anything, two amps can be used in stereo to get different tonal varieties, but again, no one takes the mic'd signal from one amp and runs it through another amp. In this case, the mic'd signal probably is getting sent to a set of speakers so as to allow cameras and live listeners to hear the amp easier without sitting right in front of the cab.
Because guitar amps are insanely directional. And if you actually want to be heard by everyone in the entire audience, instead of the one guy in the first row, you mic the cab and throw it through the PA, which isn't directional.
Also, most guitarists aren't so arrogant to think that they know what sounds better than the FOH engineer does.
