People who can’t be moulded into the stereotypes that society has set, often find it difficult
to make a place for themselves in the same society.
Hailing from a small town in India, Artika believes herself to be modern, liberal and most
importantly, independent. Not the one who shies away from speaking her mind. She
struggles to find a place to stay in Mumbai, overcoming the clichéd remarks of being a
“single working girl living alone”. However, an unprecedented encounter with a transgender
sex worker opposite her house, questions her beliefs. Will she now fall into the same
societal prejudices that she has been fighting against?

A powerful script indeed with equally compelling direction and performance. Rightfully deserved honors. Transgenders are also humans with equality and justness. Congrats for all awards bestowed upon this down to earth Short.
Humanity has no gender. Government , institutions must do something for them. They are the part of our society. The resources should be provided for education and skills. On their character they should be given jobs

Artika was defensive when others were prejudicial of single working women. However, she was quick to react to the streetwalkers soliciting in her neighborhood.
There is a lesson for us all. Because of our limited perception and lack of understanding and appreciation for others' compelling circumstances, we often become judgemental instead of feeling empathy and compassion for them.
Sometimes some people just don't have any other options.

HEART touching movie. The script and the acting both are superb. The movie is picturized well and succeeds in conveying a message . We know so less about LGBTQ+ people in our society. We need to know more about them and protect them from injustice, insults and indifference. My kudos to the the team which made this movie.

Thank you for this film. We avoid the transgenders when they ask for help. How wrong we are. Through no fault of theirs society treats them as untouchable. Hopefully all of us watching this film will have a change of heart n better ourselves visavis everyone..

We humans have created so many prejudices amongst ourselves. This excellent short film does justice in bring out those prejudices and teaching us to become better humans to others. Both actors were superb. Thank you for sharing.
