Being a part of this short film (as an extra artist) was a good experience. It was fun to watch it being made .. so many things to learn... creating depth in scene.. ambient sound recording.. improvisations.. so much stuff goes in making a good film. Actress Salony did great and most of her shots were done in single take. 👌🏼

@@spr15 not much. I was one of the staff working with her in the office scene, doing work on the computer, moving around with files in the background, etc. The scene was shot in an actual reliance office after work hours.

The gun is not a weapon here, it's the self respect/ self confidence that she lost while dealing with the men around her. The gun gave her the courage to fight back as one can easily see that she never showed it to anyone neither the boss nor that guard, she just showed it to her husband as he wasn't accepting her rebel.
Agreed on self-confidence part, but the Boss secnarioa is overly optimistic...........in reality no boss will tolerate any employee disrespecting his privacy or disobeying his orders. She would be terminated the next day

Kajal is the symbolism of an audacious journey in this short. Journey from being a helpless woman who was nothing more than an accessory of a male chauvinistic ego to an independent woman having her own identity and existence. Very good plot and brilliant acting by Salony Luthra. I liked the narration style with minimalistic dialogues. Superb background music which gels well with the plot. I wish picture quality and usage of lights could have been better. Overall very good work. Kudos!
A true depiction of the saying 'Actions speak louder than words'. The woman was silent the whole time, but her brave thoughts got converted into actions and everybody was sought, they realised their 'aukaat'.

Raag Bhairavi in the song is amazing. It's so well sung. First I was confused when it was used in the middle of the night. Raag Bhairavi is a tune of early morning. I was wondering how could someone like Vina Mehta, Paakhi, Abbas, A R Rahman etc do this mistake. Then it was again in the early morning, it gave a clear message that morning is near when the night is darkest. Name & theme Kajal , you are happy when you are dark, I didn't digest that
