Dont you need to put fox float fluid into the air chamber BEFORE final assembly???
I think you missed a step!!

No Park Tool Torque wrench to tighten the frame bolts?
    Use the Force?

You didn't add any fluid to the San before you screwed it on. I thought that is an important step. How much fluid should be use and does it need to be "float fluid"? Thanks, Dan Wellborn

Isn't there supposed to be oil inside that shock somewhere, or is it all air controlled damping?

My shock has started to make a uncomfortable sound when it compresses.. Anyone has any idea whether it is due to fluid, air pressure or does it simply need a service clean?

Fox Float Fluid is very expensive. Does anyone know of an equivalent that will do the same job?

Just because you don’t know how to do advanced repair on a shock does not mean you should tell people they have to send it to fox. Who do you think fixes the shocks there? The answer is people. people who learned how to do it at some point. Anyone can learn how to fix it so don’t tell them they cant and to just send it to fox.

Great video but next time please use a part that's actually dirty and really needs service.

Carlos Saavedra Doing this procedure won't, but if you try taking anything else apart it most certainly will.

My local bike shop is a bunch of morons they poured car brake fluid on my brakes as they thought it would work better
They stripped my pedals my brand new ones I told them to grease the bottom bracket and they told me it's the pedals that need grease and so they stripped them I'm done with them.

Misleading title, its NOT a shock service, its an air can service, and.... dont use a screwdriver like that as there is a reason why the proper tools and techniques exists, just saying !
