That’s crazy cheap for an excavator. If you can, and if you’re still working on your pond, which I’m guessing you are, I would recommend leasing some larger equipment. A 35 excavator and a skid steer would make light work of a job like that.
Your doing great man, there are many people here that will give negative comments such as you should have shopped around more, or its going to take forever to dig a pond with that thing. Don’t listen to them, its fun to do a project yourself and its even more fun not having to pay someone else to do it for you. Keep up the good work and your purchase is wonderful. Good luck man, your doing just fine.
Cute little mini mini excavator. That thing wasn’t going to flip on ya coming out of the trailer. Just extend the boom out if you feel it’s a little sketchy. Or spin it around and come down frontwards. If you’re thinking about digging out a pond with that thing, it’s gonna be a while. Especially if you insist on moving the spoils like that.
Easy test for any forklift(towmotor)operater to find where most of the weight is is to put the forks together and center them under that crate and just lift an inch or so off the ground, then if you have to move to one side or another and you’ll see which side has more weight🤔(the side with less weight will rise).

@@offgridburbia My invoice from the customs broker shows $387.50 for the destination charge. Note that because I picked up at the warehouse I didn't have to pay for the local shipping.
Why do you need a customs broker if your ordering it online? I looked at the website and it doesn't say anything about needing anything from customs or is that just Texas?
Anytime you are importing merchandise from overseas like China you need to follow customs rules. Once the merchandise makes it to the U.S. it automatically goes through U.S. Customs and you need to present them with the proper paperwork for them to release the merchandise to you. The customs broker knows exactly what paperwork is needed and how to fill it out. They communicate electronically with U.S. Customs to facilitate the release of your merchandise.
The problem was that we didn't know which was the heavy side because it was in the box. Both sides were heavy just one side was heavier so couldn't tell when it was loaded.
Yeah but who pays attention to that stuff? LOL. The issue was the excavator should have been placed farther to the front by the loader. If I knew better I would have instructed such.
How much was it? I am leery of purchasing anything through Alibabba and anything from China that has such a low price, being concerned about build quality and durability as they often use cheap materials. How was your experience purchasing the item?
My experience was excellent. Obviously you are going to get what you pay for so don’t expect a $30k machine. Using Alibaba just took out the middleman so instead of paying $10k you are paying $6k. My total cost was $5750.

Below is information about my purchase...
I ordered and paid for the excavator through Alibaba which was $3750 + $250 for the grapple attachment. The customs broker handled the other fees and billed me. The total was $5750. Note that I picked up directly at the warehouse so there were no shipping fees for delivery other than the U-haul trailer. The customs broker communicated with the seller and directed me on which forms to sign. The import tax was 25% so that is figured into the total cost.
I used Patrick Vasquez Customs Broker. 210-349-2577. Great communication! They will handle the customs fee as part of their service and bill you. Their website is www.vasquezcustomsbroker.com
The company I purchased the excavator from is Golden Mining Industrial Corporation. Sales manager is Betty at cnmc011@chnmach.com or sales011@sinogoldmachine.com. Her phone is 86-186-6983-4018. Jack is no longer with the company but we mainly used WhatsApp to stay in contact while the excavator was being prepared for shipment and delivery. If you can't get in touch with Betty you can go to their Alibaba page and their is a contact link there, see below...

Make a tik tok man ,people are dying for a review of this machine on tik tok
5750 was shipped price? I need.
Yes that was the total price
@@24acresofparadise Thanks for the video. I live just outside of Austin and was thinking about ordering a mini front loader on Alibaba. What was the shipping charge to get your excavator to Houston?
@@offgridburbia My invoice from the customs broker shows $387.50 for the destination charge. Note that because I picked up at the warehouse I didn't have to pay for the local shipping.
@@24acresofparadise Thanks for the response. I'm still working on convincing my wife.
Turn the idle down sll the way
Thanks, figured that out already. Appreciate the comments!
Polaris ranger has a good size bed and a electric dump.
do you have to pay 20% tax on it?
Yes. I don't remember the exact amount but that's about right.
Next time if you use a small trailer like that , back the machine on , so the weight is in the front
The problem was that we didn't know which was the heavy side because it was in the box. Both sides were heavy just one side was heavier so couldn't tell when it was loaded.
Next time you'll know to drill a peek hole or two
I can't believe alibaba actually worked
then have a try.
Buy American
Nothing is stopping you. Check the items you purchase and let me know what you find.
Trailer does say 55 speed limit and even backwards so you can read thru your side mirrors🙄
This one is good quality. Briggs & Stratton engine. Integrated hydraulic cylinder and continental pipeline from German. I am the factory.
@@nanazhang429 You ARE the factory? That's impressive.
yes
Awesome... How old is he .. reminds me of when I was young
