A later mission takes you right to it again. I believe it is the mission right before the mission where you get access to the last cell, which you need before you can get the armor anyway.
It's great and stuff like this works, but you don't need to. The power cells are all 'conveniently' located during main story missions, and you come back here eventually with the gates open. My suggestion is save yourself some time and just come back later. You can't get the armour for ages anyway.

Working as of June 20, 2018! Just remember that you HAVE to use a strider or other kind of mount to bypass the invisible wall to go up the rocks on the right side of Mother’s Watch.

Thanks Craig for the help. You really did a good job finding a way out. I am pissed at the game developers though. Why the hell did they make this part of the game so difficult. What were they trying to achieve? I literally lost interest at a point. It took me hours till I decided to come online to get this tip.
You can go in the gates at the correct time. Keep your mount and yourself out of their path away from the gate and when the hunters or braves return you can walk in through the gate.
I just found another tip. I was not having a fast travel pack so all I did was restart the game after I picked the power cell and it took me to the last fire camp with the power cell still in my possession. Yay!!!!!
That's a bonus - you would be surprised by how many people have posted a "how do i get out" comment because they didn't watch the whole guide before trying it themselves.
apparently you can go in during day break. there's a small window right after the transition from night time to day time that the door will be open. try it out.

You can go back an get the power cell at mothers den later on in the game twords the end when u go back to do another quest called (the heart of nora) so dont worry you can still get it. It adds a shield layer of protection an you cant add any mods to it.
this game has a lot of poor design decisions, and locking away this item after the initial stretch is one of the more infuriating ones, so this video was super useful! (tbh these were among the ten most entertaining minutes of gameplay i've had with the game)

You can go back later during The Heart of The Nora. it's a main quest towards the end of the game
that´s why you want it early to get the armour sooner.
No point in getting it at the end though so

Save before you attempt. You can fall and get stuck between the invisible wall, then you'll have to reload the game.
