A great thing about this song for Australians is that it references places using their traditional Aboriginal name, such as Gadigal (for Sydney) and Naarn (for Melbourne). And it rocks hard as well.
I love this woman! I love the whole band! She is so comfortable in her own skin, I'm a kiwi and been following them for some years. A breath of fresh air! ❤
Omg! suddenly there's a band that uses dynamic, not drown the guitar in distortion, use pauses between notes, and an actual musical bass line! Awesome bass sound, awesome breath of the song.
@@elektroskeptic481 I can’t believe I forgot Glass Beams. They are one of my most listened to bands this year. I got to see them live and they were so good.
They've been around for a decade! Not a new band. They've been out there grinding it out for years building fans 1 at a time with their live shows.....which are incredible!!!
An attena of joy and power. She’s more connected to real life than most people out there; with punk. If someone doesn’t like this they are missing something in they’re soul.
When I first saw a video pop up for them, I was like "what the hell is this crap?" But after watching it, I LOVE THEM! Thank you Amyl and the Sniffers for hitting my UA-cam stream! I love your energy, songs, just a great show!
I actually found them when Amy was a guest judge on Drag Race Down Under! I don’t typically listen to any rock music but they’re so good. Big Dreams is a new fave
"Big Dreams" was recommended to me by UA-cam and I'm so glad it was. I listened to some of their other songs, now I have tickets to see them! So excited!
Reminds me of Marianne Faithful's "Why d'ya do what you did". Energetic post punk vibes somewhere around 1979. 🙂 Jools must think: "I was there the first time around".
If it were the '70s or '90s, the band would be HUGE! I admire their work and her vocalizing is unique. Wish they'd come to Atlanta, but that's a tall order.
Wow! I was just scrolling by, bumped into this video and now I’m a fan. The whole new album is just great. It’s so refreshing, guitars sound so tasteful and the overall energy is like 10 cups of coffee in one go.
I was absolutely blown away by Amyl and the Sniffers' live performance on Jools Holland! Their energy and raw talent were truly electrifying, and they absolutely rocked the stage. Their sound was fierce, their stage presence was magnetic, and it was a performance that I won't soon forget. Amyl and the Sniffers are definitely a band to watch out for - they're the real deal!

i love her she sounds like my grandma screaming over the fence telling the neighbours to shut up
😂 good one
Bet grandma did not dressed like that though😛
Just perfect!!
Pretty much sums it up, yes
Thankfully, your grandmother decided never to wear hot pants again.
It's 1979 again, and I'm loving it.
That is what I thought.
Show me anyone that sounded like that in 1979

We used to call it drugs, not energy.
And this is one of her lower energy performances too!!!! She's awesome
@Zasu42 Amy isn't on drugs though lol.
No that's just shouting, don't be confused
Amy's voice matches the music perfectly. I've been following for 7 years now. They are what rock needed
