Horrible take on Mbappe, like yes a broken nose can affect everything. Your head and face is swollen and in constant pain which distracts you. Also you wont go for any headed challenges because of it. Any painkillers he is on will also affect his focus.

Get real. Germany and Spain have played the best football and are unfortunate to be in the tougher side of the draw and likely to meet. England have been performing way below expectations but are again rewarded with an easier route to the final.
Switzerland were unlucky not to beat Germany they completely outplayed them.

I think we can make excuses for someone who broke their nose a couple of days ago. He could be having trouble breathing, difficulty sleeping, and he has a mask on his face that he"s not used to. If I was Mbappe and my broken nose was not healed I'd be worried about breaking it again.

France sees groups like no challenge just to get eliminated in the first round like last euro vs the swiss.. yea yea. Always praising teams that are showing nothing, last euro italy didnt even deserve to go past Spain in the semis but they were good in groups.

@@lwc2349 Footballers are always injured, they play with injuries all the time, Phil Foden has been playing with a fractured hand since like Jan/Feb times to now... I'd wager it's harder to not use your hand during a football match than your face, for example everytime you fall over you've only got one hand to save yourself with and what if you land on it or another player runs into it? Dias broke his hand in Jan and played the rest of the season and is starting for Spain right now... Benzema had a crippled finger at real because he chose not to have surgery which would put him out for the run in, he won the UCL though. I've watched Ben White play with a serious hamstring injury because we had no other defenders...
Listen I love Phil Foden, incredible player, but now he just doesn't suit the way England want to play.
He could play on the left inside channel if we had a natural left wing back like Chillwell or Shaw but both are out so you need a proper winger for balance.

medium sized regards honours won but regards support, finances and tradition, the biggest country in Europe.
