Sorta speechless, huh? You're right, she is the best, and she is so good that it is impossible to describe; you can only watch in awe. Love your reaction!
idk if you have reacted to her more rythmic songs like love again or the time she sung vision of love. its pretty cool seeying her doing something different. about what you said, i think because she is also a song writer, that she is that amazing at projecting her emotions. alot of singers sing the notes well. but it sometimes feel like they dont know what they are singing about. like they have no grasp of the meaning of the words.
Just shows many singers are very shallow .. of course they understand the meaning of their words, but they haven't a clue how to or are too lazy to effectively bring out that meaning in the song - not being personally connected to the lyrics may be a part of it, but Lara, for example, makes superb interpretations of many other people's lyrics.
I get what you're saying, "..i think because she is also a song writer, that she is that amazing at projecting her emotions." but I don't totally agree to this. Let me give an example of why I don't completely agree. Lara's "Je Suis Malade", song as you probably know was created by song writer / singer Serge Lama based on his PERSONAL story. He sings it here in 1975 ua-cam.com/video/HDbpZpm9j9c/v-deo.html and here in 2003 ua-cam.com/video/h6SPqCI1hao/v-deo.html Just compare these interpretations to Lara Fabian's who took this song off to another level and I mean just emotion wise and performancewise apart of her superb vocal quality. I know (and probably you also) really great poets who recite their poems like children in elementary school and great writers also who read poorly. That's why actors best recite poems and stories. Of course in every rule there is an exception but Lara Fabian has it all! She has the whole whole package and that's amazing.
Have you heard Gabriel Henriques version?? Blows this out of of the water. No disrespect but Gabriel is in a league of his own. Do yourself a favor and react to it. And if he had that orchestra behind him. Oh my.
You're spot on Ilsuk. Please react to 'Je suis malade' ua-cam.com/video/dVvlmpo5g9k/v-deo.html, it's even more in connection with what you said. Lara is in her own league.
@@ilsukdyang8134 I'm not surprised.../ Lara is so underrated. She confessed very recently in Canada where she lives, the reason why she didn't make it in the USA. At the time, she and Céline Dion had the same music company (Sony), Céline was already a star in America, when Lara only was a rookie. Lara revealed that Céline Dion's team (not Céline herself) did everything to sink her/sabotage her career as Lara had the whole package to also become an immense star in America, and worldwide. The music company didn't want another huge voice to compete with Céline's, and instead of supporting her, of supporting her style of music/songs (such as 'Love by Grace'), Lara was forced to leave it for another company and forced to change her professional team. As a result, the other company formated Lara to make her sing pop songs such as "I will love again", a style of music/songs for which Lara and her stunning voice weren't made for, and it was over....such a waste, as she should be as famous and successful as Céline or Mariah Carey today. :(
LARA FABIAN ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Lara IS just a jewel for coaches, how to show , in 4 minutes, a mastery of Scenic vocal techniques
She is the best!
Lara is famous in Brazil because of this song. It was the theme song, sung by Lara, of a popular long-running TV soap opera.
She's amazing, i love her.
Amo essa música 💕😪🍀

Absolutely agree. A technical master who makes 100 brilliant choices to draw us in and wrap us in the story. Mesmerizing.

That's one of my favorites! I feel like I say that about all the performances of hers I've reacted to, though
