Louis Armstrong did this song back in 1953, and either the late great Satchmo lent J None his voice for this or J None can really do this. I love this. You are still VoicePlay and earlier this year they did a WarFrame - Sleeping in the Cold Below.

I love all 3! Tim wrote the first song. It’s so wistful. Rob sings it beautifully. They’re nuts in the 2nd. All those shenanigans! Love the Grinch. He such a little sh%#!!! Loved the boys as detectives too. It had to be Tim for those lows. The Grinch was some actor they hired. He was good. Have a wonderful Christmas!!!

According to Chase this was video #6 in 2 days, so it never stood the chance of staying on the rails. Each retake, Chance loved the whipped cream, Rob " skittles hurt", Bastien , " did you see the carmel too!

I absolutely love both songs & both are being overlooked. The 2nd is so HARD!

Regarding On-Lyne - yes they are an in-game Boy Band from the '90s. They get infested with Technorot and become the villains? Not positive about how villainous they are. I've not played it yet. But that seems to be the gist of that part of the plot. I love when this switches to the 'infested' part. Geoff's bass line with Layne's beats really funk this up. Personally I wasn't into Boy Bands. AltRock was more my style at the time. VoicePlay gave the song more groove. And the added runs and even screams give it a lot more interest.

I've always been pretty sure Fat Albert's voice was based somewhat on Louis Armstrong's. J's Satchmo was really spot on. And it was nice getting to hear J's bass up front (instead of just in the background when Geoff was singing lead, like in the Little Mermaid Medley). In case you didn't know, the US Navy has J classed as a bass in their Sea Chanters. He's got quite a lot of range.

Thanks for another VoicePlay reaction to their latest Christmas and their Warframe sponsored tune. This is the third time that Layne has arranged this Christmas song for VoicePlay over the years. Apparently, they used to perform this live in their pre-pandemic touring days. One of the previous arrangements is on one of their Christmas CDs from that time. Always good to see J. back with the guys. He does a great Louis Armstrong tribute. The Warframe tune is an earworm. Always great to have Omar back with VP too.

Both of these songs are so much fun. I'm old enough to remember Zat U Santa Claus, but I don't. I'm not a gamer, but all of the music they've done from games has been terrific!!

the one who arranges the song is usually also the one who edits the video. so this time Layne was the arranger and editor. On both videos actually. they do it themselves 🙂 also, the reason J did a Louis Armstrong voice there, is because it's a Louis Armstrong song 🙂

Nightwish was a band that lost the lead singer, and Floor was a singer without a band. It was a match made in heaven. Floor was singing the songs that were composed for Tarja and Annette. At the time of this concert in Wacken the fans and the band knew she would stay.

Mykal is an original member of the group when they started as a quarter. That was straight out of high school in 1997. He left a couple of years later for a very successful Broadway career.

This song was written by Bastien, inspired by the problems he had with his family when he came out as gay, and by similar stories from friends. Adam Rupp said he had some trouble recording this because he kept getting choked up.

I'd love to see you react to 5SOS, they're my favorite band. I think they really stand out live so their song Easier (live from the vault) or Teeth (live from the vault) are good options. There are also some good live performances of their hit song Youngblood.
