Thanks, I always think that buying into a track is a big thing. There are so many pros and cons to think about. The good thing is that whatever track system you have all of them have a unique benefit that might appeal to someone.
Great review Paul, I use the arc pro system and bought it purely because it offered the option of either digital or analogue. I have quite a few digital cars but this year I've bought more analogue cars so this system works great for me, but I hear what you say about policar and am inclined to agree with you and say it seems to be the better system. Hey Rob, ARC pro is a good system and I think what let's it down is ths Scalextric app. I upgraded to ARC one initially and really like the app but had issues with the app crashing and not working. I looked online and saw that a lot of people had this issue and the app has a very poor rating. I then discovered the Magic app which I have never had an issue with. I now have ARC Air mainly for the pace car feature. I think ARC has a lot more left to give in terms of functionality but Scalextric don't seem to be interested in making it truly great. I like the idea of racing with someone else over WiFi on the same layout and the power base being able to do that. A lot of people would then be able to race against each other without being with each other. I think that tyre wear, fuel load and weather are a bit gimmicky and that adding interactive light gantries and lighting on the track would be a nice feature that could be all controlled through the app. Thanks for the comment 🤟👌👍
