his “im so glad you asked that question” every time is killing me 😭😭 I’ve never seen two people so palpably want to be talking to each other in an interview, and it just makes my heart so warm.
He could just be a regular dude during the interview, which he probably appreciated. A good time vs more work, like a lot of interviews are.
This is what happens when Sean has a guest worth interviewing.
Instead of just picking ten random factoids or deep dives.
Never see Sean this excited and animated during an interview. You know it's a good one when the man himself is this into it.

Luda was just the perfect guest. Can tell he wants to be here. Great depth when answering but stil short and to the point. No extra just exactly what we wanted to know and both have the let me give u the best interview attitudes. Best interview i have seen in a while. Distinguished.

Just hearing luda speak makes me want to listen to his music again, such a good episode.
This is one my top 5 episodes. Nothing crazy happened, but a very real and down to earth person that I genuinely enjoy listening to.
I thought it was one of the most boring. It felt forced and pointless.
Luda seems like such a nice guy, and mad charisma. Fun ep.

So it was nice to see him on the show, and see who he is as a person.

This is why i love this show, the sauce trauma/deeply thoughtful questions humanize the guest in a totally unique way.

I will never forget the moment i learned about ludacris! In 3rd grade i was on a car ride with some of my school's basketball team and the Coach/dad of one of the kids played "fantasy" on the cd player. the vibe of the song was like no other rap i had ever heard and i was hooked. been a massive fan ever since and it's so cool to see him on the show!

Luda killed it. I am always one to enjoy watching celebrities all sweating and coughing, but you have to respect the dude's composure during the whole interview.
Ludacris comes off as such a genuine, intelligent, down to earth artist. And I believe the only other interview in Hot Ones history besides Henry Rollins to call the bomb good.

Luda is a great conversationalist for acknowledging the greatness of the questions and explaining WHY they're so great. VERY few people ever do this. Not to mention that he annihilated those hot sauces with such a chilled demeanor. I saw Shaun suffering a bit on Da Bomb while Luda carried on with his answer like it ain't no thang. I smiled throughout the entire episode 😊

I really appreciate the fact that you gave him props on his album intros. He had arguably the best intros of the 2000s on his run from Back for the First Time all the way to Theatre of the Mind. All 6 of those albums had crazy good intros !

This is what I love about listening to Luda's music again. Hearing it in the aether by complete chance and remembering that i loved listening to his work... Hes an amazing artist and its clear that he has such great vibes.
I love Luda. He killed this challenge without a tear in his eye. Such a great artist too. A whole lot of his songs had a sense of humor inherently built-in, and they were a perfect representation of his real world personality. Super smart super talented and funny!
