- Let's set up the month of June 2024 for success! Today I show you how I set up a year, month, and quarter in advance using my perpetual calendars. I cannot tell you how much time and frustration I have saved by having a month at a glance prefilled out with all of my master task items. Master task items for me are birthdays, holidays, recurring bills, etc that happen every single month in a year regardless of what year it falls on. My master list also tells me what I should be planning for in the month that is due as well as aids me in looking ahead so that I am already working on next months events and projects. Once everything is filled out all I have to do is follow the plan. That is what your planner should be and do for you. Your planner is a tool that is meant to help you, not hinder you. ***My quarterly planning sheets are what I use to plan a year in advance. The top part is all of the items from the perpetual calendar. As I get closer to the month things get added or removed and what I actually plan for the month, the final draft, goes on the quarterly flip out as shown in the video. I didn’t explain this in the video so I wanted to make sure to add it here. Hopefully that makes sense.

Your video taught me so much about using the perpetual calendar which I am using in my Happy Planners too and has been helping me a lot too! Stephanie from UA-cam channel “Squaired Plans” is incredibly nice & helpful! Used her Etsy store for all my BIG Happy Planner downloads to print for my BIG planners! Please show more of how you organized your perpetual calendar, so important to start with a master schedule, I am seeing more and more. Hi Arlene! Love Stephanie at @squairdplans! It’s awesome to have the big happy planner inserts as printable at her shop since the happy planner has limited big layouts available. Thats why I broke from the happy planner mini. I used to use the horizontal in mini size, but all of the sudden happy planner stopped releasing that layout. I used to cut them down and put them in my Filofax because I liked my thick paper.

Hi there! My binder is Vanderspek touch me in standard size. Standard size is the same as the personal size and the rings are 30mm. Link for my binder is in the description. Hope that helps!

You are correct, I could put my perpetual and pre planning sheets in my Filofax; but that’s not how I personally use my Filofax. My Filofax is just my scheduler and agenda. I only carry the current month’s weekly’s, the current months daily’s (usually 1/2 a month) along with other items I might need on the go. My Filofax essentially tells me what I need to do for the day and when I need to be working in other books. I have the ability to do preplanning on the fly if I need to since I also carry the entire year in the monthly’s. I unfortunately do not have the space in my personal planner to carry my entire life with me, nor would I want to. I will be releasing more videos in the future going over more of my system and a flip through of my personal planner. Hope that makes sense! Thank you!
