I’ve listened to so many different recordings of you playing this song Stephanie and it makes my heart stir every single time hundreds of times I’ve listened to it and I just got the best news today that the online guitar course that I’m in CGCA is offering a tutorial for the grade level seven I’ll be passing my grade level six in the spring and now I know that for the next three years Black Cockatoo will be part of my study load! A dream come true. You remain such an inspiration to this old lady.

Totally love this piece and Steph plays it so well. I am lucky enough to see and hear various black cockatoos on occasion and they are
such majestic and beautiful birds. They wheel across the skies with their calls echoing across the valleys. I suspect they also mate for life and one bird I have seen flies the same route each day calling for his lost mate. Beautiful, lonely and heartbreaking, just like this music.
