It's fantastic to see al the improvements they're doing to the area. Gotta call my aunt Alma and ask her if she has been by there lately. 🙂 thanks for sharing 💌
Thanks for the look-see! I always want to go to the cafe when I'm in Corbin, but I'm so, so close to Barbourville at that point (after driving down from Chicagoland) I just want to get there, so we don't ever get over to it.
Great video Coyote! I've ate there many times! I had a truck route back in the 80's and always ate there when delivering to Corbin! Great to hear the history! Thanks for sharing! I love the old gas pump's, I have a couple myself!
That mural is a take off on the Beetle Abbey Road. The chickens left to right white shoes, bare foot, and black shoes and the colonial in white. Google The Beatles Abbey Road.
You're right! I've got a friend who is a huge Beatles fan he will probably never forgive me for not recognizing that. LOL thanks for the info Beverly and thanks for watching!
I was in Corbin back in the '80s a few times taking my grandmother to some medical specialist, and was told the original KFC was there, but never saw it. Looks recently restored. I agree with Mrs. Coyote...I like grapes, too... I heard Col. Sanders had a short fuse, but didn't know he was in a shoot out..
Y'all crack me up. 😂 Well I learned a lot about col. Sanders I never knew. KFC was my favorite thing to eat as a child. Only got to have it when we had family get togethers. I worked at a KFC once and the first thing I asked was what is in the secret recipe....lol. It is a secret. The seasoning comes pre bagged and ingredients are not listed. I used to make the biscuits every morning. Those hens were following Sanders around the corner of that building where froghorn leghorn was waiting to spur the col. Lol...I think he was onto the set up....lol. Wow Corbin Ky looks like a nice place to visit. God bless y'all.
@@IgnitedCoyote no they don't. Its because they use that pre mix batter now days. Years ago it was flour buttermilk and lard. Lard and buttermilk makes all biscuits good. 😁 God bless

My nephews wife is related to Claudia Sanders.....shes a ledington....small world....
Great....now you got me wanting some KFC! Who knew Sanders was also Wyatt Earp. The secret recipe may include gun powder.
I think you may have figured out the main secret ingredient! Don't be surprised if someone From KFC shows up at your door.🤣😆🤣
Ain't no fried like Kentucky fried!
Why did the chicken cross the road? To get away from Colonel Sanders. Lol. Thanks for taking us alone.
Thanks for watching!
Well bust my buttons what was he shooting or did he have a shootout with what is a shape with chickens
So y'all know the recipe? I need it.
Wish we did
Did y'all see the tow-mator truck beside the road going bye there? You know Larry the cable guy voices tow mator from the dinsey movie "cars"... ???
Thanks! That truck is great, didn't they used to leave the caution light on top of it on all night.
