The XFly Model T-7A Red Hawk 64mm EDF jet is an easy-to-fly and versatile trainer jet for a wider variety of experienced pilots to enjoy. The 2840-KV3200 brushless motor and 40-amp ESC that are matched to the 12-blade 64mm fan, together with 4S battery, it delivers an strong power and a turbine-like sound. We have the same problem at our flying site. People walking or jogging across the the field with no idea that it is a RC flying area. Nor do they care. Salute ! Oh by the way, Xfly has the best quality I have found in flying foam planes.

These are really great! I prefer the A10, but just because I like the marque. The sound on take off was really realistic.. Waiting for people wander away is all part of the aeromodeling life I think. Big salute from London 👍

That jet is beautiful! Good flying Pilot Robert! I noticed the ducted fan birds need quite a bit of runway to take off. Man, that jet is a whistler, deffo not for beginners. Great flight gents. Granny walk that young filly and her mutt away so the gents can do their filming.
This place is so perfect just for jets.

Good job. This plane has a decent nose-up attitude on the slow passes, jet like 👍🏻.
As there is no retractable landing-gear, this model is perfect, just to practice touch and go and landings.
I like it M. And will now upgrade nose wheel and try it on our runway again.
Great video and brilliant entertainment. Typical that people get in the way when yr trying to fly . There are people in the UK that walk towards me to ask questions about my plane im flying at the time .they even park next to my car and stand on my landing spot . I love the hobby with the same passion as cap blaz an pilot Robert . I like to fly scaled I sv the t7a its a great 64mm jet flies sweet .. the lady walking the dog didn't pick up the dog shit lol . You guys make my day and I thank you for that ...

Wow !!! another fantastic flying plane from Xfly despite the locals trying to spoil your fun 😂😂🤣🤣 glad you didn't land in that 💩 !!! Haha !! Again a great way to get into EDF jet flying with a simple inexpensive 4 channel receiver and they are great those little Antennaless receiver's combined with the most accessible battery on the market it's a winner 🏆 !!! 👌

A flat, smooth runway makes all the difference for your EDF jets!

The XT-7a might be the highest quality foam and paint of anything I’ve flown in my awful 7 years in the sport.
I’ve started flying it gearless and there’s not a scratch or blemish on it.
In a perfect world- if this had a rudder,
retractable landing gear it would be an “Every Time Out” EDF.
Adding flaperons was the best thing I’ve ever done. Much easier to land. Even helps with the Hand Toss.
Like you said Jeff. I was also thinking about flaperons but could only find 4ch reciever fast.
@@PetrincicBrosRC I’m not as good a pilot as you two are, so I can use all the help I can get slowing down on landing. I flew the xt-7a 5 times Sunday. (First time without wheels) On 4s 2200 is struggled to get airborne with no flaperons, and the landing was way too fast. I tried Takeoff Flaperons on the 2nd toss and it made a big difference. Used Landing Flaperons on the 2nd landing and it landing like a butterfly with sore feet. (Crappy Sport 6 channel receiver, no gyro, no stability. Once it’s dialed in, it’s as good as any Eflite or Freewing I own in the air)
Just maidened mine today. Never had a plane fly see as easy, landings were a breeze, took it vertical to stall and recovered easy. Needs full rates, ignore the recommended ones as way too low. If this was 6s with rudder and retracts it would be the best plane out there, quality of build is excellent, plane is stable in the air, takes off on short grass with ease and lands at very slow speeds.
@@neilhands1708 flew mine again Saturday. First time with a 4s 2500 brick style pack. (Always flown it on a 4s 2200) The added weight and the lengther battery didn’t cause any issues. I’m thinking about putting a 50 amp esc in it to see what it does.
That EDF as a 6s would’ve been sweet!

I lost a scale P-51 with high wing loading on account of a couple walking past in my local park. I was trying to be so 'safe' as to avoid flying anywhere near them as they walked along my flight path that I aggressively turned resulting in an unrecoverable stall/spin. I swore to myself to never fly such a plane in the park again. Small/lightweight i.e. agile planes is required for public parks where people will walk their dogs etc. so that it is easy and safe to quickly divert your flight path.
They didn't invent the term "park flyer" for nothing!
I was waiting once for the horse to go by before I could land. Its even on the video. I think on giant MIG 15.
Don't feel bad I done close to the same thing. Ya learn from your mistakes just some mistakes cost more than others. lol Long as nobody got injured is the main thing. I only fly at my local flight field. Luckily it's only a mile from my house. ✌️

Could also use a 6ch rx (AR620), & mix in flaperons for a slower landing desent. My fastER birds, its much easier to slow em down! 😁

I think its perfect for belly landings. I will try it too. But first I will upgrade the front wheel, just got them today, for A10 also and then I will try the bungee catapult. Just got the rubber for it.
