    Hi, Nice video! Is it the Shinko size 14 x 2.75 you got on? And for the tube, do you have a link for a better tube than the stock one ? is it 14 x 2.75 as well? Thanks a bunch!

      @@z4yr0 amazing thank you so much for the support ❤️ I’m using the Shinko 241 size 14 X 2.75 - and the tubes I use are from AliExpress, I order 5 at a time they are CST inner Tubes size 18 x 3. I’ll see if I can find a link for you

      @@PEVPOV appreciated. Im a bit mixed up with Tube size vs tire Size here!

    • @PEVPOV
      @PEVPOV  6 днів тому

      @ I understand it is confusing let me see if I can help: 14 x 2.75 represents the rim diameter. The 14 inch rim = 20 inch EUC as we call it (xway, lynx, Sherman, etc) but in terms of tubes they go with outer diameter, so you use an 18inch tube inside a 20 inch EUC like the xway or lynx.
      So buy a 14 x 2.75 tire and an 18 x 3 tube and you are good to go

    I know this question isn't the topic of the video but I'm curious to know, does the wind in Chicago (the Windy city) affect your city riding compared to when you were in DC or is it a non-factor. It seems like everytime I ride and feel a gust of wind it jolts my body and makes me go into a small wobble. But I don't know if I'm just being a baby about it or what (I'm on a master btw). Also do you use a rear view mirror at all? Thanks

    • @PEVPOV
      @PEVPOV  9 днів тому +2

      First off thank you so much!! You’re the man ❤
      About the wind it’s interesting because Chicago is built on a grid system so when it gets windy out some of the streets act as wind tunnels and you ride by and it definitely throws you off to one side! But just like everything it is a muscle you can train so you’re not uncomfortable when it occurs. If you know it will be very windy, may try going for a ride to improve your reactions to the wind.
      And no I never really used a rear mirror, I’ve gotten used to looking over my shoulder and double checking when turning or switching lanes 👍🏽

    I’m more interested in off-road and jumping, so light is king. That’s why I would want the 134 V. Still has plenty of torque for hill climbing. I don’t care about top speed.

    Great views of Chicago and great x-way content. I’m glad you spent time talking about the PKz. I have powerknobz v2 voidcore but keep going back to the Grizzla. I’m a new rider and get wobbles bad on the PKz and think it’s because I rely on the top pads too much for stability. What are your thoughts the Cohedron pads might be a good mix between the two? Maybe enough to help with wobbles or just more time in the wheel to help that? I ride mostly street and have a V4 master as my first wheel.

    • @PEVPOV
      @PEVPOV  9 днів тому +2

      @@Delko-615 they are a great middle ground and offer more support than the voidcores, but I would not give up on them. If I can recommend a change I would make sure your heel is locked tight with the pads. This will make it easier to lean and make you feel more secured which will help with wobbles. Wobbles just means the wheel is not in your control and you regain the control by having tighter pads and being more connected with the wheel

    • @PEVPOV
      @PEVPOV  9 днів тому

      I tried the xway side by side with a blitz on my first day owning it, but it wasn’t a fair comparison since I was not comfortable with the Kenda tire that came stock on the xway. I’ll make a video talking about the differences and my thoughts on the two

    I’m really curious about how the torque and top speed of the 134 compare to this one. I feel like it will have a very low top speed. Since I’m not an electrical engineer it’s just a guess. It’s much lighter and that’s why I would consider it.

    Nice, you're making me want one 😂, seems like torquey wheels tend to damage tubed tires though, is that your experience? I mean the tire slips and the tube valve breaks.

    • @PEVPOV
      @PEVPOV  10 днів тому +3

      @@tomnel I personally haven’t seen that from high torque wheels, it can happen on any wheel but the key to preventing that is riding with proper PSI. I’m running 38-40 PSI on the 241
