NOSFET APEX 1st wheel and it took me a week to ride, learned in the snow. Legs are still healing, lol. Your argument for a smaller wheel is a good one it would fit in the trunk of my Miata. I should have got this Begode A2+ size or smaller for a first wheel but here we are, lol. Already passed an Amish buggy on the back road I was practicing on.

If you bought a small wheel you would think the opposite. Small kids wheels have no range, no power and no stability.

I agree. I love my V8F. I'll always keep a small wheel around. I'm on the lookout for my next small wheel. I'm thinking the MTen5 because i love it's built in handle.

After 4500 miles on my Sherman S it was time to do exactly what your talking about in this video. I picked up the Falcon and the Mten 5+. I'm hoping by summertime I'll have the pendulum and backwards riding abilities on these smaller wheels. Your right too they are a blast! I'm gonna ride the falcon to work tomorrow up here the upper peninsula of michigan. It's gonna be cold and snowing so it should be fun! Awesome video and thank you for sharing.

I'm still loving my A2, I bought the Mten5+ thinking it would be better (zippier), it's not, same power, less stable, has some cool features but the ole' A2 is hard to beat as a fart around on wheel.

Good video, thank you. I have an A2+. Have never had any tech problems with it. I ride it around moderately-bumpy grassy fields and rooty woodland trails with sharp-ish bends and slopes. It's a hoot.
An A2+ with a factory-installed ice-studded knobby tire would be good in winter.
    Stay upright! And warm.

As a fellow midwest A2 owner I have to ask, does the salt rust out the bearings, axle, or any other critical component of your A2? I’ve been avoiding taking it out at all for fear of messing up my bearings.

What are the chances Leaperkim makes a small wheel? Lets put this idea into the universe! Imagine a "Lynx mini" with a suspension to rival the Falcon or a "Sherm" to rival the Mten 5 with no suspension.... still workshopping the names haha.

The A2 has a more torquey motor, the Mten5 has a faster winding, the A2 won't be able to go as fast as the Mten5, but the Mten5 has softer pedals and it is easier to dip through the same pendulums due to the HS winding. I just thought that maybe someone would be interested in the difference and this would raise the video in the recommendations too

If you go over bumps or curbs then the falcon is absolutely worth it from euc ungerground. Get it now and sell it later for the pro. You won't lose much if any. The cons are outweighed by suspension.
I learned on the a2 and put 1k miles on it. Just to compare them: If the A2 is a 10 for learning, 10 for fun, 5 for transportation. The falcon is a 7 for learning, 9 for fun, 8 for transportation.
It allows me to ride where the a2 couldn't while still being fun. The main cost is the weight, 55lb vs 46lb.

Why do you call it "freedom unit".
You do get it was a label with satirical irony as imperial units was the exact opposite.. it was a unit that was pushed down by a foreign invasive power.. and also why the only two other societies where you see imperial units today..
are the military dictatorship in Burma and LIberia in Africa, and a revenue from when they were sieged by a foreign power,
Im puzzled if some Americans actually think that imperiel units have anything to do with "freedom" when the label freedom unitys was in fact meant as a satirical label as imperial units was a label from being ruled by foreign powers from another continent..
but it also worth noting, that IMperial doesn't exist anymore ... as a native selfcontained measurement unit.. all imperial units are now defined in metric, where you then take a conversion factor and put it on top of metric and call that "imperial" which makes no sense whatsoever..
also why US hurried to sign the treaty of the meter and would outphase imperial asap.. but thats an uphill battle, not least when some characters actually think that it got anything to do with nationalism or freedom.
Veritasium made a video about it.

first time seeing someone get triggered by the words "freedom units"

    • @jakobh.4422
      @jakobh.4422 16 днів тому +3

@@P-a-iTech do you even know what "triggered" means when you use it in such a context..
As referring to facts. and explaining the reason behind it.. is that being triggered?.. it seems more like you got triggered, of me relating to the facts since you in lack of valid arguments suddenly jumps to useless wording like "triggered"
Its usually the other way around and why most people get triggered if reality doesn't fit with their clueless perception and tends to get offended/triggered if somebody explains the context and the reason for it..
Asking somebody why they use a certain loaded label like freedom-units-..and a wording that is the opposite of the meaning and was in fact a satirical slogan, shouldn't be seen as offensive.. I get that people like you or this small channel-holder.. tend to get offended fast, but its also mindboggling that some characters literally can't perform basic due diligence on something as obviously satirical & ironic as "freedom units" and literally think it has something to do with patriotism & freedom.
      As explained above..

Hilarious how its the pedistraians that needs o stand still and obey you messing up all regulations. just because your high on being in a group peers... what about you showed the pedestrian some respect, and stop clowning around with 50 to 60mph.
      .
no respect whatsoever for the regulations or red light with 50 to 60mph in heavy traffic.. him & his peers almost taking out a pedestrian family with young kids crossing the road at a pedestrian walkover where they had the right to walk..
sure ... keep doing that and its not gonna end well..
If you hit one of my loved ones or kids..the whole street would be standing and applauding on how far down I could push that monocycle into your mouth.
keep acting that way. and sooner rather than later you have destroyed the latitude of freedom & respect we take for granted.
