- Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have all new Gym Leaders, Elite 4, and Champions but their Ace Pokemon all suck. Lets make them better with New Signature Pokemon that hopefully won't appear in the Indigo Disk's new trailer and the new Blueberry Academy. Boy I'm expecting some crazy new Pokemon news!

I brought it up in a previous video about Getta, but I have been thinking about it, and an interesting idea is to, in the academy star tournament, have her start with her Ace Glimmora, and Terralize it into a Type that has the best match-up against your team that her team doesn't already have. Then leave Kingambit for last to get full effect of it's ability.
Hey Hybrid, I actually have a theory on why Geeta is such a sub-par champion, it's because she's not just the region's champion, she's the chairwoman of the academy and the league. So she has Rose's job, Leon's job, and overseeing the school. We don't know what goes into running the Pokémon League, so maybe she's so overworked that she doesn't train and battle as the other champions.
Not a theory, if you ask me. Or at least I agree with you. It's a fact.
SV subverts or shuffles the norm or common stereotypes.
Professor roles are held by both Jacq and Clavel this time.
Antagonist team doesn't exist. Team Star are only rival's team (Penny).
Geeta is not the Champion, but Nemona is. And later in the DLC, Kieran would likely be too. Who may or may not play a double role as an evil rival.
And the big boss, usually an evil team leader, are Sada and Turo, who are not necessarily evil too.
That's the reason why Hybrid preferred SV compared to SwSh. This gen offers a new take, and not just rehashing/repeating the bygone plots.
It’s so cool that they could use a different type and then Tera type into their main type. I could also see Brassius getting an Hisuian Lilligant!
They did a great job giving the gym leaders two aces. The gen 9 Pokémon and then the one they terastilize (which made sense for typing reasons or strategic). Wish they had continued that into the E4 and champion
Personally, I would've given Ryme a Mismagius. It's not a singer per se, but it does fight with chants that sound like incantations that can either torment the target or bring them happiness, which would fit a rapper perfectly.

For Poppy and Rika, it would be cool that in Scarlet Poppy has Iron Treads and in Violet Rika has Great Tusk
I can imagine that the titan was retreating to A.Z but then poppy found it and beated the ever living day light out of it and catched it
There's new information from the anime that suggests Rika may be from Johto (based on the Kansai dialect she speaks with, and Johto is based on the Kansai area)
If thats the case, Clodsire is such a good ace for her, since its just a twist on a familiar face from home for her

Fun fact each of the palladian gym leaders has an actual decent tourism motift(fitting ws you just moved paldea and this is a game focused on travel)

I honestly like Tulip because gave sound advice after her rematch. About how people burn bright yet fast.
It shows that despite her vain tendencies, she also has a level of maturity and pragmatic view on things.
When I was doing Team remake Ideas for Paldea, was thinking of giving Geeta Tyranitar too🪨🥰
But Brassius and Hassel already use Tsareena & Dragonite
It's better to give them terastalizing Pokemon like tera bug alcremie.
