Yuta's fandom already knew he would go in a more rock/alt/metal route since he's expressed his interest and joy for the genre for a long time! When you said it made you happy seeing Yuta do something he wanted - I mean it's unconventional given the space - we were too, as a lot of us were scared a solo project he wanted might have to lighter/mainstream.
I'm obsessed with his solo project, so happy for him. He's so cool for this, a real rockstar!!

Yuta's song made us transport ourselves to the 2000s and it also has vibes of the songs that were used in WWE, in addition to anime openings like death note. Yuta did an excellent job and took the risk of making a rock song in these times, where everything is more pop. Listen to the full album, it's now on Spotify. Yuta is great, I love him.

I'm so proud of my Nct bias, I grew up with rock and never stopped listening so this was very special for me. Yuta didn’t need to prove how good he was solo but he certainly did.
Never will there be a better track that tells how an idol goes/wants a different path.

I was so excited to hear he was finally getting his solo album cuz I already fully expected him to dive into the jrock concept since it’s known he’s a HUGEEE fan of it. I was highly hoping for a collab with Hyde ngl, tho unfortunately we didn’t get it (not yet at least🤭). But the whole album is so much better than I expected (and I expected it to be great nonetheless)!!!! His voice just fits the genre perfectly, I’m glad he was able to go this direction!😫

i'm so glad that he fully leaned into the rock/metal sound that he likes!! i was worried that he would take it easy since it's a hit or miss genre for a lot of people and this is his solo debut. his voice and style suit the rock/metal sound and vibe so well and the album is genuinely very very good
