Yuta has always talked about how much he loves rock and how much he wants to pursue that genre! Some of his idols/favorite artists are jrock legends like Hyde and Miyavi! (He's actually friends with them!) So this is 200% Yuta!!
He has always been a rockstar at heart and I couldn't be more proud of him for being able to do what he wants to showcase the true Yuta!!!

We already knew from first point that Yuta will go rock. We were just worried SM will limit it (more to cater mainstream tastes), like Yuta wouldn't go full-on...but this, OMG THIS?! Yes

He couldn't have done better than this, he's always been loving rock and taking it so seriously, I'm so happy he finally got the chance to show us this side of him doing what he loves, he ATE ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥btw, he wrote this song and 5 other songs from this album "Depth" (the album has 7 songs)

Do yourselves a favour (and take us 'along for the ride') and get to know this man ! He is a rock music lover inspired by his idol Japanese Rock Star HYDE who has now become a friend and fan of Yuta's. His love of rock has been seen and now at last he's been given the freedom to bring us his true self. The album is well put together and we need to support him because 'the company' has done a crap job of promotions ................
This album and song screams yuta all over!! A proper Jrock album.... yuta has always been vocal about loving rock metal and Vkei... he said he was taking rock vocal lessons for a while now... u should get to know him better not cuz he is my bias but he is an awesome human being...
I hope u get to react to the full album soon...
I really hope he gets show promotions, i fear it won't be the case since korea has a negative outlook on this knod of rock genre, they barely accept poprock... i guess this is a reason y there weren't much promotions befor the album release, SM doesn't know how the public will receive this album.... i hope yuta and nctzen proves that rock has a place in kpop too...

I am so happy to finally see him do what he wanted to for so long! He is just great, great performer, great singer.
Rock and Metal are definitely Yuta's favorite genres of music and he's always wanted to pursue it musically if given the chance. He's also been travelling to Japan to get screaming/growling lessons and a lot of his big role models and inspirations are japanese rock artists like Hyde, Miyavi, and so on. Yuta' has done a lot of covers but i highly recommend checking out these 3 song covers he's done. Would love to see you guys react to them but if you can't then on your own time works as well:

Whole album is rock... I listened to the album and its goooood.
Even though Yuta was never one of my favourites group wise... I like him but was never tooo much into him...but solo wise...DAAAAMN.

So far, there haven't been many pieces of rock music that have hooked me deeply emotionally. I feel something new in YUTA's works. The quality of the voice, the subtlety of the appearance and video effects, the sense of proportion that does not diminish the works, much more natural freedom of expression in general. As a result, the energy is much stronger, more real. All the songs of the album are very consistent in their quality and harmony.
I used to listen a lot to HYDE (for example the song "Perfect Moment"), but YUTA, in my opinion, raises the level to new heights. And this is just the beginning. YUTA's songs heal and inspire.

Yuta just wiped out the other JROCK/Jpop bands I mean Yuta by himself can do freestyle ( dont get me wrong Lots of jrock band are underrated but slaps hard just like OOR and Jam project etc)
