Izzy i have no intention in buying a unit of that price or size but just watching you explaining everything and finding out what comes on to the market is priceless, O and Maggie’s ( i cant believe what you just said face ) is lovely
Good video. Really nice machine. I like Harvey - I have their table saw. While this dust collector may check all your boxes, the $5,000 price tag does not check my boxes.
Who’s saying they aren’t in development. Idk either. It’s good info as we have now learned even harbor freight is now making something close ish to dust extraction. Someone doing something is a great thing. It may cause a landslide.
I have the G700 and I love it. Others have commented about how the bin fills up fast; yes, the planer is the worst. I'm thinking of putting a 30 or 50 gallon cyclone between the collection: a cheap barrel with a tight lid, and a easy to install kit is all I need.
I don't understand how this could be in range for a home shop. This is 5 times more expensive than any other piece of equipment in my shop. It is cool they made a unit that fits your needs and budget.. Keep up the good work.
@izzyswan I have been waiting for some reviews on this unit. Did you get to test how it handles being necked down to 2.5" for the smaller tools? I am also curious how it will handle heavy producers like a planer and/or jointer in a 1-2 person shop. Like you mentioned in your video I am shopping it against a big Oneida Gorilla Pro but really like how quiet this one is. Thanks for the video!
It looks cool but I’m really now sure who this is for. Anyone spending $5,000 on a dust collector is likely a professional, yet a professional shop is going to fill a 29 gallon bin many times per day.
It is definitely not for everyone. The smaller dust bin takes around a minute to pull the dust bag and put a new one it. It is much lighter and easier to handle than a 55-gallon drum. Making it both faster and safer to handle. Which is why the smaller bin is much more attractive to home and pro shops a like.
What i don't get about people commenting is.....they are shocked that an industrial solution costs so much. I mean when compared to a DeWalt shop vac + dust deputy - it's lot of money. But if you have a production shop, not so much. By the way, The DeWalt Quiet Shopvac and Fein + dust deputy works fine for my DIY/hobby shop. I connect one to bladeguard, and one to cabinet of my sawstop and I hardly get any dust kicking up. LOVE IT. But I'm sure I would live the new G800 Pro. 😁
Great video as always Izzy I’ll never have the need for a dust collection system like this I’m just one guy with Job site tools hoping to maybe someday afford a full sized table saw and jointer. And a dust collector that I can run them off of. But I always watch your video and dream of tools like this. Thanks for sharing
I use an old Dyson vacuum I found on the side of the road, with a Home Depot bucket as a separator on the inlet. Does Harvey make anything in that price range?
Great video Izzy, they came to the right person to kick it off. Harvey constantly surprises with innovations. Wish the dust bin was a larger though. Got to wonder if a redesigned G700 is in the works. - Chris
Can you explain what the brass colored stud near the floor on the intake/storage box side? Looks a bit like an air coupler without the ridges. What is the emptying process like? The drawer looks like it would be pretty heavy to lift when full.
Harvey dust collectors Start @ $3k!!! 😲 The one you show is 5k! You can literally buy a festool for 5 machines. I chose to compare festool because of their pricing.
Their prices are on par with other industrial systems. I realize it can be a bit of shock when jump from a simple induction motor cyclone dust collector to a very pro system. But i can tell you for a shop like mine they are worth every penny.
So I've been considering the Oneida Supercell for the static pressure and ability to work well for ports across the 1-4" range. How might this unit work on the smaller ports?
I’ve had the supercell for a few years and it is amazing. I’m a one person shop though and only use it one tool at a time. I don’t think I’ve ever actually tried to use more than 2 ports at once, so I’m not sure how good it would be.
i have the g700 and static pressure is awesome and works for whatever you need, especially with have a motor that allows you to adjust the pressure up and down depending on the tool
*Does Harvey Ships their products like the Table Saw and this Dust Collector to India??* *Coz I'm planning to Buy a Harvey Table Saw but I'm not seeing any deals un India so do they directly ship to India??*
Price is competitive when its compared to other systems in the same class. the G800 is a professional system. Dust bin is the perfect size in my opinion. i hate dealing with 55 gallons of plastic chips.
Looks cool Izzy but definitely not where I’m at right now unfortunately. Maybe someday. Side note: what’s up with those OneFininity CNC videos. Or just those CNC side hustle videos in general. I was looking forward to your side hustle CNC videos that was promised but I can’t find any. Are they on another channel perhaps? I’d love a response to guide me the right way sir. Been a long time subscriber. Must be over a decade now. Cheers and all the best.
Yeah I just rewatched that video last week when the expectation was on CNC video a week. About to get a OneFinity so I’d love to have seen those videos.
I know this is a sponsored video and that’s fine. Was hoping Harvey had something smaller or only for CNCs and light enough for people with smaller shops. Upgraded my CNC to a spindle but defeats the purpose of quieter operation when it’s hooked up to a loud dust collector. There is the Dewalt Stealth shop vac, but prefer the volume of a 4” dust system. Maybe Harvey will come up with a smaller version around 200 pounds and under $2K. 🤷🏻♂️
Good morning 🌅, very nice, BUT , very expensive, and the bin size doesn’t look big enough to run any decent machine for a length of period like 3/4. hours at a time, but by the sounds of it, it will clean the dust out of your nostrils, 👃,
Y'all crying about the price are crazy. Izzy showcasing this D/C doesn't make the cheaper options vanish into thin air anymore than Ferrari makes your Fords disappear. Get a grip.

Really impressive device, Izzy! Thanks for the review! 😮
Happy new year!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you, and Happy New Year to you as well!

Amazing system I’m looking forward to the day they drop a planner to the market cheers Izzy and Maggie
When Maggie opened that blast gate it sounded like an actual weather event.
the fist time we heard it both of us were very surprised.
That collector is sweeeet! I wish they made a smaller unit that was geared towards garage shops with limited space. I’ll keep dreaming.
Who’s saying they aren’t in development. Idk either. It’s good info as we have now learned even harbor freight is now making something close ish to dust extraction. Someone doing something is a great thing. It may cause a landslide.
the g700….

Not sure how or why I’m here but this thing is damn cool.
Where they put the port on the old model never made sense to me.

Izzy, what is that bench you are leaning on in the video? Video? Plans?
Video on it coming soon
Never watched a single one of your videos without learning something! Not once!

Izzy, i'd like to see an actual usage video. How will it handle my hammer A3-41. or a shaper? I am 50/50 on this or a Felder Rl 140. thoughts?
This would solve all my problems. After installing it, I wouldn’t be able to fit in my shop, and so it would free up the time I spend in there.
I use an old Dyson vacuum I found on the side of the road, with a Home Depot bucket as a separator on the inlet.
Does Harvey make anything in that price range?
🙄
They do have an "Iron Lung" .
Wish they made a larger one than the 1000. We have a Felder that quite frankly isn’t that great but on paper has a better CFM rating.
my five horse had better CFM on paper too but the 800 is out preforming it.
Great video Izzy, they came to the right person to kick it off. Harvey constantly surprises with innovations. Wish the dust bin was a larger though. Got to wonder if a redesigned G700 is in the works. - Chris

Did you miss the "Industrial" in the name?
Their prices are on par with other industrial systems. I realize it can be a bit of shock when jump from a simple induction motor cyclone dust collector to a very pro system. But i can tell you for a shop like mine they are worth every penny.
that comparison makes little sense because it’s 2 completely different tools. dust extractors are not dust collectors, and vice versa.
Wow, that’s a lot of suck for the buck!! Very nice, it might be time for me to upgrade.
Can I connect my Flow-Bee hair cutting tool to it?
Yup
Any shot they’ll possibly incorporate these changes in the g700? I don’t need a pro level machine but would love see this tech in a hobbyist machine.
it wouldn't surprise me but i cant say for sure. Harvey is keeping us on our toes.

Can you hook it uo to ivac?
Harvey took the Arizona iced tea approach. Why charge more if you don't need to
Thx 4 vid!
Price is crazy. Dust bin is way to small. Crazy they are actually selling them.
Price is competitive when its compared to other systems in the same class. the G800 is a professional system. Dust bin is the perfect size in my opinion. i hate dealing with 55 gallons of plastic chips.

What ever happened to the Onefinity CNC?
Yeah I just rewatched that video last week when the expectation was on CNC video a week. About to get a OneFinity so I’d love to have seen those videos.
if you any friends at havey ask them to do smaller under desk unit for us with small workshop I only need to run my cnc and vac's are poo for that !!
I know this is a sponsored video and that’s fine. Was hoping Harvey had something smaller or only for CNCs and light enough for people with smaller shops. Ok but let’s see the damned thing collect some DUST. Suck up a big pile on the floor… SOMETHING!😂
For $ 5,000.00, I can hire someone to clean my shop.
can they sweep the fine dust particles from your lungs too?
Hmmm. Harvey. Imagine that.
5 grand is no hobby shop tool
i never said it was a hobby shop tool.
Hello Maggie
👋
Y'all crying about the price are crazy. Izzy showcasing this D/C doesn't make the cheaper options vanish into thin air anymore than Ferrari makes your Fords disappear. Get a grip.
What does the sub $200 model do?
Unrealistic to say the least. Looks like somebody over medicated ? Maybe ?
Cheers
Too many baits, maybe others like their feeds blowing up. Lost a sub
Chinese equipment.
If true… total deal-breaker. Izzy where is this made?
