I often get told im "too nice" .. mostly it affects my relationships and they end too quickly because of it. I would probably act like charles here, advocation for my shooters insanity. People might call me stupid or careless but we never do that to firefighters when they walk into the flames to save people, so whh judge the person who would want to save the person who shot him? I mean, who to trust any better than the victim when the victim fights for the offender? I will allways see the best in people and unfortunally there will allways be a set number of people who will find that to be a big weakness but i dont, i admire such strenght.
I don’t have the emotional strength to do that for someone who tried to kill me (at least not quick enough to matter), but I admire those who do.
I admire his ability to see past his emotions and realize that Kellogg was mentally ill and in dire need of treatment. He stayed true to his profession, despite literally being shot by this man. But, Dr Reese is certainly not wrong for feeling satisfied that a SHOOTER is in prison. Mentally ill or not, resorting to violence is always unacceptable, and I do not speak from a point of authority. I am mentally ill as well, and I know that violence never leads to problems being solved, it just creates more. Yes, Kellogg is mentally ill, and yes, I admire how noble Dr Charles is, but no, I do not believe Kellogg's actions are justified and no, I would not have been as quick to forgive him.
Why doesn't everyone leave the "psychoanalysis" to him.
Because he was wrong. He did want to send Kellogg to an asylum because of his guilt and ego.
Yes he is very good, but not infallible. And you know as they say. Doctors make the worst patients.

This was the 2nd or 3rd season where they were trying new ways to have the camera setup so it's wobbly compared to later seasons where it's more serious and still.
