This album is so damn good. This is just the most nostalgic sounding Ye album for me. The production, the choruses, the realness, it's such an emotional album
This is now the second time where I revisited a Kanye album within 24 hours of you guys posting a reaction afterwards! This is my favourite channel thanks so much keep up the great stuff guys
Over the last few months, this channel has easily become my favourite to watch. My dad is really open to new music, but unfortunately won’t listen to Ye because of his recent public stunts, even though I’m a huge fan. I love Ye’s music so much, and want to have somebody who doesn’t know his music at all to share it with. That’s why I love watching your Dad enjoy it for the first time. It makes me genuinely happy.
I could watch you guys for hours! The experience of listening to albums with someone else is so special, makes you realize why music is so great. Inspires me to reach out to friends to listen together. Keep it up guys! I wonder if theres any albums that Kevin (dad) wants to share with Connor, it seems like its usually the opposite.
No matter how many times I have listend to some of these songs. I love hearing Kevins thoughts on them. Often he sees/hear things I personally didn't take too much notice of. And that makes me appreciate the songs even more! Thanks for these videos!
@@user-le4tt4oq7i i love ghost town pt 1 & 2 i also tend to replay shorter tracks, but the build that Runaway does, until getting to that amazing outro is untouchable
man your dad's story after wouldn't leave was really touching and motivating in a strange way. it's easy for people to assume when they're going through a rough patch that they're not deserving of being loved by another person and that people are repelled by them. it's moving to hear evidence to the contrary and to realize that love between two people can happen in difficult circumstances and that love doesn't judge. thanks for this.
The talk following Wouldn't Leave hit me hard, I'm in a rough spot right now (also missing teeth I can't afford to fix haha etc.) and seeing where you've gotten from where you were then gave me some hope for now, so thanks.
You’ve got this, Isaac! Keep pushing forward! Keep moving up. Don’t give up, you have so much to live for my friend. Thank you for sharing a little bit of your story. Praying for you and keeping you in my heart, brother!
This project is really a gem, as is KSG. They don't get their due respect because of how good all of Ye's music is. I think depending on the part of life you're in, this could be someone's favorite Ye project
Knowing Cudi was coming with the heat on Ghost Town and knowing your dad would love it, and then seeing his reaction brought a massive smile to my face. Especially loved the “AH CUD!”
From what I can recall this was the second release from the "Wyoming Sessions" where Kanye produced 5 albums, each containing 7 songs. In order I believe it was Push T, Ye, KSG, NAS, then Teyana Taylor. They're all fantastic imo! Great video as always guys, Ye is definitely too 3 Kanye albums for me
I love the fact that Kevin can now pick up certain singers in a song. Idk maybe it’s just me but kevin asked if it was ty dolla $ign and connor just nods. That was a really wholesome moment for me.
esperé por ver esta reacción, así como a muchos, este álbum es muy importante para mi, escuchar a tu padre reaccionando a este es algo hermoso. siempre lloro en violent crimes y creo que es surrealista no sentir y no ser con este álbum, simplemente divino.
Kanye just has that ability to interweave his lyrics and samples / music in a way that can really make you open up the vulnerable part and let you get some feelings out. But he also can throw in a line inside one of these emotional tracks that gets you to smile in a way taking a break from all the emotion.
With so many copy channels popping up, you guys are the ones I always go back to, the albums you pick are almost identical to what i would pick. And the chemistry with u and ur dad is great fo see.
Ghost Town is so amazing. What a song. Can't wait till yall do Indicud. That album got better and better to me over time. Some great stuff on there. Also Modus Vivendi by 070 Shake would be cool to see too. One of my favorite albums, such a unique sound.

I've been dying for this episode to come out. Hearing violent crimes felt like listening to it for the first time again. Couldn't help but tear up. This is my favorite ye album I think
So many great moments from this album, but seeing your dad react to “no mistakes” was so so cool. That’s a song where the first few lines, you feel like the artist is performing it just for you. Like every line feels like it was ripped right out of your life. Love it
No matter what people say about this album, it will always remain my favorite Kanye project. Despite some of the iffy lyricism at times, the album is just so beautiful and hits me in the feels everytime.
Your guys relationship is beautiful. Good music has an ability to just smash down any emotional walls and makes every lyric so relatable. Kanye is incredible
ohhhh yeah thank you boys, love this project also id like to thank you fellas for helping me rekindle my relationship with my father after not speaking for a long time, seeing how close music brought yous together made me realise how it used to do the same for myself and him
After listening to all these Kanye albums for the first time, do you have any assumptions conclusions about the evolution of Kanye? A ranking maybe? It would be cool to hear someone's thoughts without nostalgia affecting the rankings
I know I’m not the reactors and you probably don’t care about my opinion on this, but in the past year or so I’ve been slowly listening to his discography. Hadn’t heard his music really until this year. My ranking would be: Late Registration> Graduation> ye> College Dropout> Life of Pablo> Dark Fantasy> Donda> Jesus is King> Yeezus> 808s If I had to rate his side projects/collabs, I’d put Watch the Throne and Cruel Summer just below Yeezus, and KIDS SEE GHOSTS just above it. Idk what id say about evolution, besides that I feel like his more personal moments are often his best. I feel like aggressive Kanye doesn’t appeal to me, most of the reason MBDTF is so low. His first 3 are overall great to me. 808s was far too drowned in auto tune for me to even notice there were lyrics. WTT/GMCS are both just boring to me. Yeezus was experimental and I can completely respect it, I just don’t personally like it for whatever reason. TLOP and ye are both more personal projects of his from what I see and I loved each for that. KIDS SEE GHOSTS is just not my thing, probably because I’m just not familiar with Kid Cudi’s music at all. I can see the appeal of it though and if I liked Kid Cudi’s sound just a bit more, it’d probably be just below TLOP. Jesus is King is very very average, but has some good songs. And finally, I loved the first half of Donda but the fact it (the deluxe) was 32 songs means I didn’t most of the last 16. Overall, I like most of his music, with the exception of 808s and two of his collaborative projects.
This one hit different. I love the back stories because it lets me know I’m not the only one that puts my own life experiences when hearing certain lines on songs
Love seeing these reactions, I got so giddy when Ghost Town and Violent Crimes came on. I loved seeing your dad’s reaction to No Mistakes, seeing him getting so happy from that song is great. “I don’t take advice from people less successful than me” was my grad quote. Take care guys, love the videos!!!!!

Also it makes me realize that this album maybe more than all the others is meant to be listened to in order. Thank you two for doing this.
❤️
It’s cool to see, when Kanye made this album as a father. And seeing it resonate so much with your dad.
🙏❤️
I wonder if theres any albums that Kevin (dad) wants to share with Connor, it seems like its usually the opposite.
got the line "i feel kinda free" in the ye font tatted on my wrist, such a beautiful song

No matter how many times I have listend to some of these songs. I love hearing Kevins thoughts on them. Often he sees/hear things I personally didn't take too much notice of. And that makes me appreciate the songs even more! Thanks for these videos!

Ghost Town is the best Kanye song ever so this album will always be special to me for that. Dropping the best vids as always!

man your dad's story after wouldn't leave was really touching and motivating in a strange way. it's easy for people to assume when they're going through a rough patch that they're not deserving of being loved by another person and that people are repelled by them. it's moving to hear evidence to the contrary and to realize that love between two people can happen in difficult circumstances and that love doesn't judge. thanks for this.
This too will pass man, that’s what I’ve learned
Good luck isaac🙏🏽 you got it gang

@@Coldmoonwalk Sorry to hear that my guy, stay strong
It’s crazy how underrated this album is. Really a shame that people couldn’t see the beauty of it on release since it followed Pablo
This project is really a gem, as is KSG. They don't get their due respect because of how good all of Ye's music is. I think depending on the part of life you're in, this could be someone's favorite Ye project
its a 8/10 in my opinion

Kevin can't get through one Kanye album without tearing up, & we're here for it!!
At least one in every album.
@@christopherdelgado4512 Kanye songs are sad and hopeful at the same time.
It’s so human and rarely talked about when people mention his art! ❤️
Kanye just has that ability to interweave his lyrics and samples / music in a way that can really make you open up the vulnerable part and let you get some feelings out. But he also can throw in a line inside one of these emotional tracks that gets you to smile in a way taking a break from all the emotion.
Violent crimes might be my favorite off this project. I love how Kanye is being so real on this whole album
this is the most emotional kanye album for me, was holding back tears listening to it at work once lol
The fact that Kanye wrote this album in a week is insane
With so many copy channels popping up, you guys are the ones I always go back to, the albums you pick are almost identical to what i would pick. And the chemistry with u and ur dad is great fo see.

Glad to hear you’re doing better!! Love the shirts guys!! 💕

Ghost Town is so amazing. What a song. Can't wait till yall do Indicud. That album got better and better to me over time. Some great stuff on there. Also Modus Vivendi by 070 Shake would be cool to see too. One of my favorite albums, such a unique sound.
Kevin tearing up from Violent Crimes hit me.. I love my dad so much and I know he would feel the same after hearing this song. Love the awareness in the song
I've been dying for this episode to come out. Hearing violent crimes felt like listening to it for the first time again. Couldn't help but tear up. This is my favorite ye album I think
Ghosttown and violent crimes are two of my favorite songs from Kanye. Love how emotional this album is
I can't listen to Violent Crimes without crying. Absolute beautiful track.
So many great moments from this album, but seeing your dad react to “no mistakes” was so so cool. That’s a song where the first few lines, you feel like the artist is performing it just for you. Like every line feels like it was ripped right out of your life. Love it
Made me emotional. Nice to see two people with a strong bond enjoying something that really resonates with me.
No matter what people say about this album, it will always remain my favorite Kanye project. Despite some of the iffy lyricism at times, the album is just so beautiful and hits me in the feels everytime.
One of my favourite ye albums , then again I love them all , we still need the vlogs!!!
Your guys relationship is beautiful. Good music has an ability to just smash down any emotional walls and makes every lyric so relatable. Kanye is incredible
ohhhh yeah thank you boys, love this project
also id like to thank you fellas for helping me rekindle my relationship with my father after not speaking for a long time, seeing how close music brought yous together made me realise how it used to do the same for myself and him
❤️
Hey man I just saw this and wanted to see if yall were still doing good?
This was the album that introduced me to Kanye. Quickly after being moved deeply by this he became my favourite artist.
This was incredible. Also good to see the chemistry between you guys and it really makes every reaction worth while
Kevin’s reaction to the first “free” in ghost town gave me chills of happiness
After listening to all these Kanye albums for the first time, do you have any assumptions conclusions about the evolution of Kanye? A ranking maybe? It would be cool to hear someone's thoughts without nostalgia affecting the rankings
Ye has the best discography in hip-hop and one of the best in overall music (Personally I think it's the best)
Would be cool to hear him rank the albums after does JIK/DONDA
@@perplexed1783 Fax there is literally an album for everyone out there with all his different album styles.
@@perplexed1783 hip hop definitely. Music in general i put him on the same level as Bowie, Queen, Beatles, and MJ, a quite nice company i think
I know I’m not the reactors and you probably don’t care about my opinion on this, but in the past year or so I’ve been slowly listening to his discography. Hadn’t heard his music really until this year. My ranking would be:
Late Registration> Graduation> ye> College Dropout> Life of Pablo> Dark Fantasy> Donda> Jesus is King> Yeezus> 808s
If I had to rate his side projects/collabs, I’d put Watch the Throne and Cruel Summer just below Yeezus, and KIDS SEE GHOSTS just above it.
This review felt so genuine. I'm glad your dad found an appreciation for this album
The freeeeeee in "Ghost down" always gives me chills
This one hit different. I love the back stories because it lets me know I’m not the only one that puts my own life experiences when hearing certain lines on songs
Love seeing these reactions, I got so giddy when Ghost Town and Violent Crimes came on. I loved seeing your dad’s reaction to No Mistakes, seeing him getting so happy from that song is great. “I don’t take advice from people less successful than me” was my grad quote. Take care guys, love the videos!!!!!

such an underrated album especially in terms of Kanyes discography. I remember listening to this on my front porch at 7 am waiting for the bus lol. I was in awe
This is my absolute favorite Ye album, it feels really personal and I love how it's not super heavy on the production and it's mostly Kanye. It's a nice breath of fresh air compared to the rest of his discography
I'm not kidding "All Mine" was the song that got me into liking Kanye.
Also the "Hospital bed a 100 band fuck a watch" line is so genius, truly an underrated album.

Just discovered this channel, you guys are great. I've heard these albums thousands of times and watching your dad listen to them almost feels like listening to each album for the first time again.
As you move deeper into rap music would love to see you explore some collaborative mixtapes. Keep it up, love watching. Also, think Father Kevin is ready for some more southern rap, get JID and Earthgang, or some Outkast for him to listen to, it should be right up his alley

Admittedly this album wasn’t heavy in my rotation but seeing your dads reaction and noting the things that do make it great gave me a new perspective on it. Great video guys
