Many people have commented that they used my videos to overcome their anxieties and fears towards flying! I'm glad they can be used that way! I hope they can work as well for you as others my friend!
WOWOWOWOW!!!! Great views taking off!! Good desert views along the way and fantabulous views of San Gorgonio Mountain. That's the highest peak in the entire LA area and probably in all of Southern CA. Good views of Mt. San Antonio. I admit that seeing the views of LA made me think of the 1997 film Volcano, the one with Tommy Lee Jones and Anne Heche. Or the 1954 sci-fi classic film Them where giant ants make a nest in LA. Anyhow, my GF is at the courthouse right now, says that she's Juror Number 57, going thru jury selection. Hopefully, the attorneys there won't start talking about UFO alien abductions! In any case, I got her a nice dinner and dessert treat waiting for her when she gets home. So... another fine video... no jet lag this time, but I'll watch General Hospital soon and then The Bold and The Beautiful. Oh, that's right, they're in LA too! Jeez, that damn wishy-washy Liam Spencer!!
Maybe she needs to start talking about UFO's and alien abductions. Try the, I'm crazy routine and really throw them off. Then neither the prosecution or defense will want her on the jury haha.
@@sla31 The problem is then, the judge could find you in contempt of court. That's my big concern when I'm doing jury duty: one wrong word, look or gesture and you could be found in contempt of court and get fined or thrown in jail. Or maybe just get reprimanded, which would be bad enough. The Number One unspoken rule when you're in a courtroom: don't piss off the judge!. As it was, my GF's whole group wasn't picked to go thru the jury selection process and they threw her back into the jury pool and then, they sent her home at 1PM. She said it was a lot of waiting... and waiting. She has to go back tomorrow at... drumroll - 1PM. Not in the morning, but at 1PM. Go figure. If she doesn't get selected tomorrow for a trial, that will be it and her duty will be done. They had a case that would last until the middle of next week, but she didn't even get to go thru the jury selection for that case. I knew a woman who WAS selected for a child molestation case which ended up lasting 3 weeks. Imagine having to be on THAT jury. Or if you end up on a case where you have to be sequestered. Then, you're practically in jail with police standing outside your hotel room making sure you don't go anywhere and you have to be transported in a van from the hotel to the courtroom every day. And remember that you can't watch any TV, certainly not the news, nor will be be able to go online anywhere.
@@sla31 Yes, some people never get called at all. It's the luck of the draw. Or... maybe not. The courts keep telling us it's completely random, but I don't think it is. Most states have an upper limit on how old you can be to serve, but some states, like WA and NY do not, so you can be 100 years old, and if you're of sound enough body and mind, yes, you can be called and yes, you WILL be expected to do your duty like everyone else. I knew a woman who did exactly what you said: showed her discontent. Her arguments were very solid, giving the judge no choice but to agree with her. When that prosecuting atty began talking about UFO alien abductions, he probably saw the look on my face, even though I did my best to hide it. It was "HUH???" "WTF???" "What the hell does this have to do with a DUI case????? What. Are you saying that aliens made this defendant drive while under the influence??? JEEZ!!" And he probably saw what I was thinking about the defendant "look, ya did it. You messed up. Just accept the consequences, learn from your mistake, move on, and work to become a more responsible citizen." Why the judge didn't take that atty to chamber and chew him out was beyond me.
Southwest does have the funniest flight attendants. Simply because they let them be themselves, and don't force them to read from a script. It's amazing how much more personable people can be when they're not forced to act a certain way. Thanks for watching my friend!
Yeah so true I recently took a flight on southwest from KMCO-KROC and it was the most layer back flight I’ve ever taken but also like u said they are just themselves
I honestly don't remember how hot it was, but asking how hot Phoenix is, is like asking a dog if it wants to chase a cat haha. I'm sure it was hot, but I can't remember for sure. Thanks for watching my friend! It's always appreciated!
I know that this is a rather random question, but which destination do you think Southwest pilots brake the hardest at? I just got curious because I just had some flights where the pilots slammed the brakes.
I might say John Wayne Airport (SNA/KSNA) cause the runway is only 5,701 feet long. Southwest Airlines also flies to Key West, where the runway is only 4,900 feet, so that might be one where they brake the most. Most of my flights, pilots slam the brakes even if the runway is long enough as this way, they can reduce taxi times, though downside is, they get paid less even if it only makes a difference of a couple of minutes.
Southwest Flight Attendants saying "we've been cleared for departure" when you're at the back of a five plane line. To me "cleared for departure" means we're turning on to the runway and taking off. 🤷♂️
To be fair to them, they only say that after the pilots do the chime thing. So, they're only saying it because the pilots have done what they're supposed to do to let the flight attendants know that we'll be in the air soon. It's actually part of their procedure, so they just announce it when the pilots tell them to.
It would be great if you (in the future) could have an altimeter (altitude gauge) and MPH speed gauge on every video. I bet that is in your future. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for upload Skylite.
Fabulous video my friend! 🤩
Nice flight on a beautiful day. Thank you! I am constantly amazed at how the Phoenix metro area just continues to grow.
Lol, I was waiting patiently for my Monday Skylite flight video. Let's go!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Thank you for your videos. Helping with my upcoming flight nerves

Another great flight and video! Thanks skylite!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great one!
Great Flight!
What a nice takeoff view!
Best seat on the plane, right behind the trailing edge flaps!
Great fly! Do you know Cross Border Xpress, a airport terminal bridge from US to Tijuana International Airport (TIJ) in Mexico?
Thanks my friend. I've heard of it before, but I've never used it or even seen it in person.
That Southwest MAX winglet is amazing!
N8721J took me from SJU-HOU yesterday.
Nice! What a coincidence!
Watching on my new 4K TV, supreme quality! :) Thank you.😃
That is the best way to enjoy them! No question about it!
@@sla31 Can I be cheeky and ask what camera you use to film? It's awesome quality indeed. No worries if you don't want to say lol :)

Is it just me or does southwest have the most hilarious flights attendants out of any other airline

Density altitude and the high temperatures at Phoenix required what looks like a Flap 30 setting for takeoff. It must have been scorching hot !
Probably was, though it looked more like a flaps 5 takeoff.

@@sla31 The flight was in March, so I wouldn't expect it to be hot. Checking some data, the lows that day were in the 40s and highs in the low 70s.
It was mild to cool that day.
That was definitely not flaps 30 on takeoff. Looked like maybe flaps 15.
I know that this is a rather random question, but which destination do you think Southwest pilots brake the hardest at?
I just got curious because I just had some flights where the pilots slammed the brakes.
Chicago Midway. For sure.
They always slam the brakes in LA too because they always want to exit at Yankee because they want to get the the gate faster.

I really can`t say that Phoenix is a beautiful place.
California on the other side......
😍
I actually think Phoenix has its own beauty. The red rocks and desert areas. It's a different type of beautiful compared to California.
Parts of PHX are beautiful. Especially the areas north of the airport.
