I just want to say I love these videos so much, I actually do “watch” these videos the whole way. I have hard times sleeping with zero noise so I put on your videos and let the sweat engine buzz send me to sleep! Thank you Skylite!
Thanks for sharing! First time watching an Alaska Airlines flight. I prefer flight attendants giving the safety briefing, so it was nice to see Alaska still doing so. It feels more personable. Also, the new MCI looks incredible!
I'm glad you enjoyed it my friend. Alaska is one of my favorite US carriers now. Definitely my favorite non-legacy, multi-class, carrier in the US. And yes, the new MCI terminal is incredible. I hope you get a chance to check it out in person someday! Thanks for watching!
I actually looked into that. The problem is when it starts. Being right before Christmas presents two problems. First, I typically don't fly between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day. First because I want to be around family, but also because trying to fly when the entire rest of the country is trying to fly is a nightmare. Everyone in the whole country flying presents another issue. Tickets are EXPENSIVE. And that's to anywhere. Right now, Alaska wants $600 for a one way ticket. So, in addition to me generally not flying then anyway, I cannot afford to keep this channel alive at $600 per flight. I have to fly 160 flights per year just to post three new full flights a week. If I paid that kind of money for every flight, I'd be spending $96,000 a year, just on flights. So, I did look into it when it was announced. But, I have to pass on that one for multiple reasons. Sorry my friend.
Thanks for another great video! I’ve been reading your posts about struggling with the youtube algorithm trying to push creators under. Just wanted to drop a comment and let you know how much we appreciate the work.
Thanks my friend. I appreciate that. It's not so much that I feel like they're trying to push anyone under. It's that they (UA-cam) is clearly focusing more and more on short form, vertical style videos like those on TikTok or Instagram. And I find that to be troubling in several ways. First, that's not what UA-cam is built on. Reels and TikTok's are those platform's thing. But, okay fine. If they want to compete with them, I get it. But, what's happened is that they are clearly pushing that style of content over long form videos. While at the same time, paying out minuscule amounts on ad revenues compared to long form video ad revenues. Just to give you an idea. For 400,000 long form video views, I'll bring in between $1,500-$3,000. Depending on the current CPM I'm doing. For 400,000 Short views, I bring in $8-$12. As you can see, there's a big discrepancy. And when you're a channel like mine, that is run by a single person who doesn't have tons of $$$$... I rely quite heavily on the ad revenues from my videos to keep creating more videos. Obviously, it's quite hard to create more content if you're only brining in $8-$12 per 400,000 views. It's just frustrating because it's hard to see my channel, that I've spent 7 years building, having record viewership, watch time, and new subscriber gain every month, but at the same time seeing my revenues drop and drop and drop. That's all. Hopefully I don't sound like I'm on a soapbox haha. I just genuinely love what this channel has become and what I've built it into, and at the same time I'm struggling to even put new footage out because I'm brining in 1/3rd the ad revenues I was, even with 3 or 4 times the viewership. Thanks for your support my friend!
WOWOWOWOW!!!! Great views of Wyoming!! Good views of Issaquah coming into the Seattle area. Good views of Lake Sammamish. Hey, there's Phantom Lake. Wow... good view of the Microsoft Campus! I've been on that Campus when Bill Gates was still very much actively running MS. There's Marymoor Park and Hwy 520. Looks like you flew over Canyon Park. That's the closest thing we have to Silicon Valley here. There a street called Technology Corridor. Good view of PAE. Good view of Pt Wells. Whoa, there's my house! Good view of the Highlands. That's whee the rich but not necessarily famous live. Good view of Bitter Lake. Good view of Golden Gardens Park, Shilshole Marina, Blue Ridge and North Beach. Good view of Ballard. Good view of the Fisherman's Terminal. During the winter, this is where the Alaskan fishing vessels stay. Good view of Discovery Park. The south beach has a very large sand bar that goes WAY out, a perfect place to be when we have a minus tide, lots of tide pools to enjoy.. Great view of the Seattle Center and the Space Needle. Hey, there's where I work! Great view of Harbor Island and the West Seattle Bridge. Good views of Hwy 509. Anyhow, I need to rest up from the jetlag which hit me below the belt. My GF wants to go blueberry picking over near Snohomish so time to go join her.
Brooo damnnn you really are consistent as hell with these uploads wow that’s insane dude! I still don’t know how you do this lol as a 1 man army 😅. But keep it up bro! 👍
Yup, that's me haha. Same time, every day, all week long. 2:00pm during the week and 10:00am on the weekends. Central that is. Anyway, thanks my friend! As always, I appreciate it!
Flying east to west is going against pretty strong winds at high altitudes. Wouldn't it slow the plane down? Also, you're up so high it feels kind of like being in the International Space Station -- the earth creeps by very slowly even though you're traveling 17,000 mph (in your case I guess about 500 mph).

Wow! at 36:46 the blue hues and cloud cover are so calming. Great videos as usual!
Great video Bryce
Nice footage!! I and a bunch of other people would love it if you did AS's inaugural Bahamas flight!

I, still really like the new MCI
It is a great new airport. No question about it.
03:27:12 didn’t know planes can taxi that high
The air is thinner & colder up there saving fuel. Some jets go to 60 thousand feet high. Fighters can go near the stratusphere where rockets pass.

👌
Did anyone watch the whole video?
I did, in real time when it was happening for real haha. Thanks for watching my friend!
Where's today's video? Something happened?
When I scheduled it, I accidentally scheduled it for 2:00pm instead of 10:00am. I moved it back to 11:00 😂.
First plus guess what? I am thinking to be in a video with you:)
Why?

Great fly! Have you heard 2 occupants were killed after a plane crash at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles where it burst into flames upon crashing?
I had not heard that. I haven't been keeping up with current events very well lately. I've been too busy with other things.
🤣Duuude, you're always leaving some of the most vacuous and unnecessary comments and questions on Skylite Productions videos lol. Chill man chill 🤣🤣🤣
@@kozakura1 I don’t mind the questions my friend. Comments help the video with the algorithm no matter what they’re in relation to 😁
@@kozakura1That was rude bro.
