I only got the slip on because the price of the other ones I was looking at (HGS and Akrapovic) were astounding. The 4.1 I’m happy with so far. The only thing is that Kris Keefer was saying the akrapovic packing lasts much longer than any other pipe. We’ll see
Hey man. So have a few questions hope you can answer. I just installed the same exhaust on my 2023 crf450r. You didn't have to do any rejet or remap? After I installed it I get a lot of backfire and popping on deceleration. Is that normal? Does your do it? I don't have the baffle in as well so would probably do it more. And the slip on just goes right into header no flange or anything? Thanks man really appreciate it don't want to hurt my engine !
No I didn’t have a remap, I do run mine in map3 (mellow) and TC 2 almost all the time, that may have something to do with it. But I do not get any back firing or popping. And there was no clamp or anything, the spot where they meet is a nice tight fit. I would imagine the baffle out would make a difference. And if you’re on any other map it would be leaner than my set up. Hope that helps you

I'd definitely take the spark thing out because the louder and nastier it sounds the better!!

Nothing is going to be as quiet as the OEM muffler on these bikes. There super quiet. Maybe the Akrapovic but that system is $1500+

Nope. There’s no clamp on the fmf. Only the stock one had a clamp at the junction
