KillBox, Bits of my old guitar strings get used in a variety of places on various model kits, too. Sometimes used as tools. Cool to see others also making use of them. Great build! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you ! I will do this more on my upcoming builds for sure. I think this is a common method that Car and Bike builders use for high gloss surfaces. It works fine for military models too ;)
Hi, that same plane BUNO 127207, F9F-2B Panther, was flown years later by my father, it was salvaged from AMARC in 1958, to the Argentine Navy as 3-A-313.
Wow! That is really cool. I love the livery of the Argentinian Panthers, that decals sheet from Printscale actually had Argentinian markings too, if I remember correctly.
Great work! Very fantastic building and video! Congratulations! Ciao
Very nice, if you do another don't forget the silver leading edges of the vertical fin & stabilizers.
I will keep that in mind - thanks for the comment, Stuart
Panther turned out wonderfully. Top notch build and paintwork. Happy modeling.
Bill
Thank you very much :)
Beauty. Sweet looking bird. Congratulations.
Many thanks!
Great Job. I just ordered this one. I will be using everything I learned while watching this.
Thanks! Good luck with your build

Yeah that's exactly what I do too. I use guitar-string for applying paint-chips and also as a CA-glue applicator.
I like the smoothing of decals, wish it was done more :) Excellent work

That is a top notch build of a classic Navy jet. Very well done. Neat work, great paint job and excellently presented.
Thank you very much for those kind words :)

Very nicely done. Dan
Thank you very much, Dan!
Brilliant! It needs some balls to drill a hole in a perfectly finished model to get nose weight in. And skill to recover it so perfectly 👍
Thanks, but I wouldn't recommend to do it this way. It's better to get weights in beforehand... :D :D
Hermoso trabajo.
Nice model. Good job! 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Absolutely beautiful 🤩
Thank you very much :)
KillBox Scalemodelling my pleasure. I find your builds an inspiration
Super!
Thanks! ❤
Recien buelbo a ver que medidas tiene este avionsus dimenciones horijinales me refiero
This 1/72 kit dimensions are approx 16cm fuselage length and 16 cm wingspan.
Very nice work. I think the cockpit interior raises it from a 9.5 to a 10.
Thank you very much, Robert :)
