All of my Honduran Air Force builds have been repeat commission from the same individual, who's father used to fly for the HAF (FAH). So, there will be plenty more to come! But I do enjoy doing them because they offer some neat alternative schemes to common aircraft.
I like no matter how easy the model might be or difficult it is you give them the same amount of attention ,detail and skill to each kit you build which speaks of the care you give each project also I appreciate the tips you give to help us modelers achieve the same results

Amazing model. I used to just think hobby boss was mediocre, but I built their f3h-2n demon, and it is just a great kit. It comes with great cockpit detail, amazing very complicated landing gear, folded wings, and even its own photo etch. It was my first photo etch set, but just really high quality plastic with full rivet detail.
Nice little build Brett. Got me few of those 72 scale in the helps. One was the huey from hobby boss and enjoyed it very much. Surprised by how these companies are adding details in 72 scale. Hi Brett, very nice Huey and the Loach in the background was looking good too. I love Vietnam War era Choppers and things, made a lot of them when I was younger. My Hueys and Cobras etc were American ones hence boring Olive drab(ish.) Loads of weapons though 😁

Nice laid back video. Enjoyed it fully. Was waiting for you to do som wear (bare metal) on the door slides. They were screaming for it. Maybe reference photos did not show that wear at all....
It was a blast! I don't particularly enjoy doing car models, mainly because I'm terrible at getting a super clean gloss finish, as for a subject I haven't tried...I haven't built a WWI biplane yet. The rigging scares me!

I think I used a Wolf Pack update set on the CH-53E I did, and I'm not sure its available any more, maybe on ebay. But in addition to the kit being hard to source, the aftermarket is difficult as well. That said, Reskit has started releasing some new upgrades for the kit, but so far nothing that is similar to the Wolf Pack set.
would you recommend to discard the blue tack after every paint session, or is it possible to re-use it? I have the impression it tends to become stickier over time leaving residues which are harder to remove. Or is it just my impression? Greetings 👍
I will re-use it for a little while, but with it being so inexpensive, I definitely wont use it indefinitely. I'm not sure about if it gets stickier over time, maybe there is a difference in brands. But with it being so inexpensive where I get it, I will only reuse it a few times before discarding.
What thinner do you use for the vallejo colors? I'm working with the brass color, and it's pretty thick straight from the bottle. Should I use the Tamiya X-20 thinner or something else?

Is there a specific brand/mark you use, every single one i tried so far has dried insta and did not allow me to make the minor adjustments right after placing the decal/photo etch. Also the photo etch has a tendency to serepate easy with the glue giving way. Please let me know what kinda glue you use.

Oh good. It was a typo. I was going to say it was a B or maybe C but not a D. Ds and Hs were identical except the engine. Longer fuselage, larger rotor blades, and a few other differences to the B and C/M. The H had the T53-L-13 and if I remember from my flying days, the D had the T53-L-11….but don’t quote me. There were no more DS in the inventory when I was on flight status. If you do any more Hueys, I can tell you all about them

Funny enough, I wasn't really much of a helicopter guy until I built the CH-53s, but now I'm quite enjoying them. Yes, a black hawk is definitely on my list of kits to build, I'd really like to do one of the Battle of Mogadishu Black hawks at some point.

Thank you. I don't always use scotch tape, usually on smaller kits like this one. But it does the trick and is easy to cut!

In my experience, Hobby Boss can be hit or miss, but overall I've enjoyed their 1/72 kits.
